A question about limits and installs

Just a quick question, can anbody confirm the number of install limits of X3:TC, and wether an uninstall and reinstall uses a count please?

infinite as far as I can tell.

Seeing as the protection is NOT securom PA but instead TAGES which has no online component in it.

and because egosoft most likely will release nodvd in year or so.

Depends if you're using a digital download or the DVD release.

The DVD version doesn't have any online activation, the Steam version does (5 maximum, but you can ask for more). I'm not sure about other digital download releases.

Sorry yes - its the DVD version - I do need to know for sure as I've used 2 so far and I may need to format my computer again, so I'll be up to three.

Both have 5, DVD and Digital versions.
And if you remove the game the normal way, it should give the install you used back, but I'm not sure...

erm nope, the DVD doesn't have a limit.

the limit is only there for online activation, the DVD uses the disc check instead of online activation, so it doesn't have the limit
