Has Anyone Else Seen The Strange, Small 'Flying Saucers'?

Post by Graceburn »

I keep seeing strange craft, rather small, in some of the more remote systems, such as the space around Omicron Lyrae. I have pursued them and got quite a few good pics, but they are still not explained. They appear on the gravidar with a footprint quite like that of the Goner craft, lying on the list, under 'Ships" as simply 'Unknown Object', with very little information. Anybody with interest or knowledge, please contact me by means of the forum.

I have also read in some people's fan fiction 'Terraformer Dreams', in particular 'Myths of Flying Saucers.

Yes they are arguably a quite common sight. You may see people raving on about some 'ufo homebase' or something like that but believe me, in a vanilla game (and I'm not familiar with a mod that would add it) there are NONE - NULL - ZILCH of such things. They are simply a little easter egg that's been around since X2.

By the way this thread should belong in the X Universe forum.

I am afraid this is nothing more then a complex phobia hallucination brought on by long periods of isolation and/or intake of hallucinagens such as Space Fuel and Teladi Narcotics. There is no evidence to support the theory of an advanced alien life, all pictures taken of these so-called "alien craft" have been proven undeniable fakes and are not taken into consideration.

Move along, nothing to see here *Waves hands in a shooing motion*

Yup, and if you follow the UFO back to its home base behind the planet in Ringo Moon you'll get to... aw crap, beaten by Syndrome.

It's just a bit of Ego fun. My theory is that Suzie uses the UFO to travel from station to station and elude her parents while she spends their money in casinos :P
