Quick launch fighters.
Hello all. Ive been a fan of x2 for years. Ive only recently just installed it again on my new vista system. I was wondering if there is a script that would allow me to launch my fighters quickly from my carrier? Ive read of one that uses the transporter to beam the fighters into space. I cannot find a working link to this script. Could anyone help?

i think the telcat was part of the bonus pack was it not? that is the script that uses the transporter device.
ive got another carrier command script installed which when you assign a squadron to your carrier it will scan for enemies with in 15k i think it is and launch the wing on detection. cant remember which one it was.

ok. as i see it there are 3 possible fighter launch scripts for x2. although there maybe more
Telcat - comes with the bonus pack
i have not used this one
marks wing script
ive got this one. it doesnt install carrier commands as such. instead you have to form your fighter wing 1st by selecting the leader then adding wingmen. after that you assign the leader to "garrison duty" at your carrier and they will scan for enemies a nd launch themselves if any are identified
carrier refit script
i have this one to. which i quite like. this one adds commands to your carrier rather than you fighters. 1st you dock your fighters then go to the carriers command slot and select assign squad. this will assign all docked fighters your carriers squadron. you can then choose to "scramble" them manually or in the comand slot is another option called "alert five" this sets a proximity alarm around the carrier to 15k. if any enemies are detected your fighters auto launch to intercept.
this is just a basic description of each of the scripts they also have other commands which i dont have time to go into sorry. however the readmes provide all the info you need.
