You'll need WinRar to unpack the scripts and there's a read-me on the installation that you'll be able to check for procedure. Just click on the Rar file with WinRar installed and you can read it.
I duplicated my X2 folder to prevent any possible problems, both folders run perfectly and seperatley. I also added Pirate guild and Bounty hunter scripts, because of this I got the modified tag on screen and to remove this I needed to run a removal mod which is activated from the first start screen, select mod package, this I believe can cause the game to tag normal saves as modified ( maybe totally wrong, but hence the duplicate folders) the one slight hiccup is that after running that particular game with the mod I need to re-start it again to deselect the mod for the normal and seperate game to start, seems to block it else.
When you've got the Race fleets installed any attack by you causes them to demand payment for damage done or revenge if you don't pay, Pirate guild sets the Pirates to hijack ships and start take-overs of sectors, Bounty Hunters sets them hunting you with varied ships all apparently friendly until they get near.

i just added both to my game but race response scriped caused a Modified tag in the courner of my screen which annoyed me so i removed the scriptNavaCorp wrote:Without Responce Fleet and Pirate Guild, X2 is quite boring and dull after the plot, when you've tried everything: try to kill a race's M2 (no Xenon) or a bunch of them in different sectors and see that nothing happens and nobody cares about it...

wow did not relise that they would take over sectors. Pirates seem like there causing problems in a few sectors was funny to watch. Still let to watch an massive invasion force of pirate M3's attack a sector.Tw122le wrote:When you've got the Race fleets installed any attack by you causes them to demand payment for damage done or revenge if you don't pay, Pirate guild sets the Pirates to hijack ships and start take-overs of sectors, Bounty Hunters sets them hunting you with varied ships all apparently friendly until they get near.
LOL race fleets made me laugh so much when a argon M6 damages a Split M6. Then to watch a split M1 followed by 2 M2's and 10 M6's jump into the sector to kill all argon ships. Then to watch the argons lame attemp to attack back with only 2 M2's which were killed quickly but later to watch the split force to be killed by 3M2's and 4 M1's to kill the split cap ships.
Bounty hunter scrip sounds cool i will download that as long as it mean they wont attack my frieghters

yep i taken your advise and installed that no modified script.NavaCorp wrote:This is the solution: the "no modified tag" mod. It's a very little mod that allows you to use scripts and mods wihout the annoyng "modified" on the uper left corner.Cycrow wrote:all unsigned scripts will do that

Check the Artificial Life console in the option meù to see if Pirate Guild is activated.Pirate Hater wrote:

Hovewer you're not their primary target more than NPC races. They attack everyone in the universe but in particular one of the races (player= a race) until they launch a massive attack, then they move to focus to another race.
However if you have few assets it's unlikely they target primarily you instead than NPC races before you have a serious empire.

well onto 74 stations over 4 sectors and 420 frieghters. so i see your point not really a major target. I been watching 40-50 M3's in 6 pirate sectors all from the same base kill poor little argon traders. wont be long now till i am a target i think i already killed 4 pirate bases so i think there annoyed.NavaCorp wrote:Check the Artificial Life console in the option meù to see if Pirate Guild is activated.Pirate Hater wrote:
