After the Mamba the turn is to the Dragon to be made from Lego

I'm also working on a bigger, more acurate, version. However, thats though. I made this smaller one in an hour or two.

Doesn't the bridge and nose "swell" towards the front? Perhaps make it so it's 6 accross along the bridge?

Yeah, it does. however, there are no wedges 6 wide .

Thanks for showing that shot of the classic Dragon Merroc. I have missed the sight of one for too long now. This lego one is rather cute I must admit, very well done.

For the record however, I haven't played X3 but to be honest. I like the looks of the X3 versions of The centaur and dragon. Look like sculptures insted of bits thrown together. Though If I may joke about the appearences of them all.

X2 Dragon - Ballet Slipper.

X2 Centaur - Handheld Vacum cleaner.

X3 Dragon - Garden Trowel.

X3 Centaur - IIRC Bathtime toy. I haven't seen much of that one.

edit - Just to ask, I don't supppose you could do one of the Elephant? I love the look of that ship.
