I'm totally noob when it comes to doing anything(besides gaming) on a computer. Could you direct me to the necessary threads where I can learn to install mods. I have retail version(us) of X2 with the 1.4 patch installed. Thanx


I really want to try something different. So if you can recommend a mod, that's swell also. I like lots of ships and a somewhat balanced economy

its best to read through the stickies, they'll detail everything you need to know.

also, when you find a mod you like, goto the thread for that mod and it will say how to install it
