Where can I find this software in the game? Where do I buy it?

Only if you have installed the bonus pack from the ego download page.

Yes, I downloaded and installed bonus pack. I'm playing X2. I use my universe map (with satelites) to check out all the paranid equipment docks and there is no listing for the commodities software. Am I missing something?
thanks for your replies!

I double checked. I just recently downloaded the game (direct2drive) and it is version 1.04. So no patches needed. The bonus pack seems to have installed correctly and there are no duplicate files. I don't think I have any of the new goodies. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Do you have any of the other commands from the other scripts in the bonus pack?

Is it just CLS that's missing, or all of them?

If it's all of them, you've likely installed the bonus pack to the wrong directory.

when installing the bonus pack it usually defaults to putting it in X2 The Threat.

so if you set the directory as c:\program files\X2 The Threat. it will actaully install it to c:\program files\X2 The Threat\X2 The threat, which of course is wrong and wont load them up.

look in you x2 directory, if you c another x2 directory inside that, then its installed wrong, you can jsut coyp the files into the main x2 dir and it should work

Well, I'm not sure how to check out any of the other add-ons but I don't see any new commands in my stations or the summary that I read about in the bonus pack material. Also, I checked the files and there is only one x2 file...no duplicate. The file that I saw listed in another thread seems to be in the correct place. I'm going to try to start a new game...real quick and run down to paranid prime to see if the software is offered in a new game. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Wow, forgot how fast that lil' ship moves. Well, I started a new game and shot down to Paranid Prime. No new software for sale. Just the same ole' offerings. Maybe I should reload the entire game and then reinstall the bonus pack again? It might have something to do with the fact that my game was purchased via digital download?

I think I see the problem. I installed X3 before X2. Bought it ans decided to back up in order to learn. So I have a egosoft/x2 file and a enlight x2 file. My working directory is not the same one that it installed in. I think this is what one of you tried to tell me, but I was to dense to see it. I'll see if I can install bonus pack in the other directory.
