is there one? i''m still near the beginning of the game, and i want get get enough credits to repair the hull of my cargo ship so i can boost its speed.

i am sick of crawling around space at a snail's pace!

Register your game (if you're talking about X3 that is), go to the X3 scripting & modding forum and have a look in the "cheats" sticky at the top of the page. If there is one, that's where it'll be.

theres money cheats for both X2 and X3 in the scripting & modding forums, u will find them in the stickies in the approaite forum

if its for x2 u goto the x2 forums, and the x3 forum for x3

Ah but you dont have to download scripts to get what you want.

When in game type this:

Shift-T hereshallbewings

The game should act liek its paused and when it resumes you have unlocked the script editor.

Then type s c s (ship, command console, script editor) to go into the script editor.

Once in select new script and then type its name in.

After that select New Line and then pick Trade Commands
Right at the top is the command add money to player :

Select that then type in how much you want.

After this press esc and save script.
then go down the list of scripts to yours and with it highlighted press r

It will give u an option : Null or Ship/Station, select Null
Press enter again until u go back to the script screen and you have heard a ncie beep.

exit the menu and check your account

Reminding of a well known money cheat/exploit in X2 without scripting:

Accept the Xenon invasion mission(s) in Xenon neighboring sectors (Trading station/Black Hole Sun should work I believe). Not only can you do it a lot of times over and over again, but they're supposed to yield a 600K prize, but they actually give around 20M!!!!!

What i find works is using a hex editor and changing your credit number in the file. It also will not say that your game is "modded"
