New Fan-made X3 Wallpaper

Took me quite some time to do this.
As ever, the background is made by me with photoshop. It's a strong improved version of a pic I drew last year. Trying to get better in detail.

The Picture shows a destroyed Boron Orca and a Pilot who found the wreckage and explores it.

It was hard for me to make the Orca look like a wreckage...But I think it's not that bad.

I like it, the only critisism I can think of is the pilot seems out of place with the ship lighting direction seems wrong, but thats easily overlooked.

I have to agree with you...Usually I only paint those Nebula background and planets. I'm very bad at lightning effects on objects...I want to improve that but it's a long way...and I don't have a teacher *smiles at egosoft..please?

What I did:

- Made the Orca darker on one side.
- Added some details to the wreckage where it has been "cut"

Not finished yet though..

It looks good on my screen..but everyone uses different brightness..

What about adding a broken wing and pulling the pieces out of alignment more? That sort of impact would have put the pieces into motion and wouldnt be so perfectly aligned
