That's just the prototyping. The final product needs a full-size one of these.

I have to ask.

When it's time to slice it up do you the phasers or the photon torpedoes?

Wow, you guys sure can read into stuff way too deeply.

I wonder what other random gibberish I can spout and get you to speculate on what we're doing

How about this: TNBT will involve gerbils.

This resembles very closely what pjknibbs suggested about an animal based space game. :)
pjknibbs wrote:As for TNBT, it will involve a mongoose player character having to fight off an invasion of green-spotted purple killer marmosets while keeping the friendly animals on his side.

Thanks Apoch, I'd kinda' assumed that already, altho' I did think that there was at least one Brit on the team.
I'll not be playing X much today as I've got an overdue appointment with the Optician. :D

We've got some chicken bones from last night we were going to throw into the air after some incantations. Assuming the dog is not quicker reading them than us I'll let you all know the results...

I may write a letter to Bernd telling him what another game needs even if it's not at all the same genre.

At the top will be better voice acting.

And possibly a bit more sense. I mean, that dude at the beginning of the Terran plot must have failed primary school.

Imagine all the hate...
Imagine the MODS for that!
Two-headed zombie Barbie goes to concert where they serve sulphuric acid punch.

Given the license issue a Spaceship Hero game is more likely - where you get to fly your ship over a band of coloured spots flying at you.

I can imagine that with a WII Fit controller which lets you do exciting actions like leaning left, leaning right, raising the left leg, and last but not least, raising the right leg!

That reminds me of the flying technique in "Gravity Dreams" where
the needle jockey becomes the ship in overspace. So leaning left
would turn the ship etc.

Okay, my suggestions:
  • space game with the parts 'think', 'think more' and 'think differently
  • gameplay is more important than graphics
  • totally bug free, no patches are necessary
  • no single, but limited multiplayer (2 to 8 players)
  • suitable for players of each age
  • no DRM
  • mainly 2D but also parts of 3D technology.
  • very low system requirements. You can play it with or without any PC, console etc. - it doesn't really matter.
  • creating mods will be possible without any programming skills and with low knowledge in modeling

Yep, correct: a board game. :fg:

Why not a zombie Barbie game?

Barbie has to shamble up to people, gnaw out their carotid, then dress up in their clothes.
The better you did, the less blood-spattered you end up and you can use this "cover" to sneak up to their friends, family, and pets to repeat the process.
Eventually you can't avoid getting really messed up so there is really no way around the dressing bit.
Dressing is apparently a major part of any Barbie game.
And don't worry parents! It's completely child-safe! There won't be any cleavage visible during the dressing process!

The Barbie licence probably costs too much. :P

So this is just Egosoft's "Panic and steal from the community" thread eh?

Ok then. We want what's basically TC but with no bugs. And more stuff. And better. And maybe even better and even more stuff. And er... er... more stuff.

And...

Don't listen to all the MMO/Planet landing/Empire building/Spaceship Hero people!

Being realistic, I want a space trade game to play that has me trying to figure out everything from scratch again, and a universe that I have zero clue about to explore.
