Is there any way i can see named pictures of these ships? i dont watch battlestar but i really want some more ship options in TC but i dont want to download ships that i have no clue how they look.

In the german version, the names of the Ships are not displayed (readtext....).

Try starting a new game, load script editor http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=216693
then dock and do a manual save. Exit the game then load up the game you just saved. Hopefully all will be well. It could be because of the German version but if you got them working in X3R they should work in TC. The scripts call the 8686_L044.xml which contains the ship descriptions which are in English.
A German version would have to be named 8686_L049.xml and the English one deleted. Please note if you simply rename the file all your ship descriptions will be in English and it may cause a crash. Im not sure on that though.
Startting a New Game worked, but isnt there any way to run the current savegame ?

EDIT: ^^ done, jump to a Unkown-sektor with argon M5 save, then install BSG-mod, then load the save and it should work.

Thanks for doing the german version that will help alot of folks out.
I've been up and down from Cairns the past week or so and am flying up again in the morning due to work. I havent had a chance to do anything lately sorry guys. Darned tropical cyclones.

I used Cycrows cheat menu to spawn a Viper MkII but it has no hardpoints or lasers.

Everything else works just fine however.

I have been using this mod for a few weeks and it works perfectly, except for one thing. Every colonial ship is available for purchase at the argon shipyards except for the pegasus. I have used the X3 editor to open the .cat file for the mod and I can see the pegasus. I am using the Universal Best Buys script and BSG 63 Battlestar Pegasus is in the list of ships. As far as I can tell, pegasus is in the game, but I cannot find it for sale anywhere. I have even tried to figure out how to add it to a spacific shipyard so I could buy it, but even after readying several posts and tutorials on how to add a ship to a shipyard, I have not a clue on how to begin to do that. Do I need to do something to make the pegasus appear in the game, or is it only available at a certain shipyard? Other then the pegasus not being inthe game the mod works fine.

Hmmm strange. Ingame goto Script Editor and edit this script setup.bsg.7
that will tell you where it is and you can change it and save it. Then just reload your saved game. It should be there though see if theres an option to purchase BSG 63 in your Argon Shipyard first though. I used the script editor to change the race for the pegasus from xenon to argon. That solved the problem and the pegasus now shows up in the argon shipyards. Another thing I have noticed is that on the battlestars it is not possible to load weapons in all of the turrets. For examply pegasus has 16 turrets on the left and right, but I can only load weapons into 12 of them. is there a way to fix this?

I'll have a look at that at another time. It's something I have run into myself so not sure on it. I know using cheat scripts its possible I think.

I also installed this mod into my game again as i was a big fan when using it in X3R and XTM.
Works great - Thanks.

The one thing i need to know is where in the scripts to look to locate the Cylon base ships and fighters, so that i can change these from Xenon to Argon or another race AND how do you go about this.
At present i cannot introduce any of these into my game as the Xenon shipyards will not let me buy anything whatever i try.

I am planning to set up a sector for the Cylons somewhere and also set them as an enemy. Should make the game even more interesting.

Ok I hate asking these questions as I usually try to find the answers for myself, but after 2 hours i'm at a loss heh.

I can't seem to find the whole mod package, all I can find are the individual xsp ship files. I tried the direct link you have on the first post which ends up forwarding me just to filefront and sifted through all the files on your profile on filefront, but can't find anything close to 42.23mb on there.

Did they take it down or am I missing something, thanks in advance for any responses.

Took me about 1/2 an hour to work out how to use Script Editor myself after reading a thread by ApricotSlice.

Heavy Raider is setup.bsg.17
Raider is setup.bsg.18
Cylon Tanker is setup.bsg.19

Just Awesome, I used the ships in X3R...even built a viper mkII cockpit in my home, and now youve made TC the best game ever!! :) BSG is just a great show, old and new....so thank you very much :wink:

Its all up and running now, and I was doing really well not cheating and then I saw that the BSG ships were ready for TC, now I'm back in Galactica and spawning an armada of Xenon Baseships to frak up! I havent posted any recent photo's of it in action, which I will be doing if I can just get out of the damn thing. Its pretty much all flightstick controlled too, just a blue backlit keyboard for naming stations and ships etc. My next project will be a bit more adventurous, but lack of funds at the moment are setting me back and it will cost a small fortune for a trio of 24" monitors, but I will keep the public informed on my website about this. Thanks again for the ships, you made a lot of Galactica fans drool at the mouth. Bye for now :)

Looks great. You should add rudder pedals to make it more realistic.

I'm an Englishman, Rudder pedals would work but they need to be separated to left and right so until I can find some single units I'm going to have to wait, the ones on sale that I've looked at wouldnt fit the layout inside. Luckily Saitek make damn good joysticks so it's all on that. It adds to the gameplay not using a mouse all the time too :)
All the hardware is presented in a column into the the front of the cockpit so most pedal setups wont fit, so if anyone knows where I could purchase single usb throttle pedals that would be great. I've looked and had no luck. I'm just wondering whether anyone has thought of converting the gravidar into a dradis monitor setup or something similar? I try and spend as much time as possible in my new toy, it's great...kids think they got it good but it's nothing like this :)

Ive even seen them made from two old joysticks.
