This sounds a bit like Emipire at War's combat system, not to mention Homeworld 2 as well. As a big fan I welcome the concept and limitless options for the future games.

What's the term for threads being 'resurrected' over and over again? Reminds me of some bad movies/games. Oh well, I think this one is past the borderline this time.

It's called 'Necromancy'. And I hear the keys to the crypt rattling. Could it be the dead-thread jailer coming to lock up the corpse? :P
