No, you bought the Terran specifications. They are not blueprints and do not allow you to build Terran ships.

The Terran blueprints only identify their weapons, missiles etc. i.e if you come across an unknown object missile, it will now be identified as a Hammerhead missile.

You can't build anything Terran.

i wish i could build terran ships....

is there a way to buy blueprints for other races ship or do i have to always reverse engineer?

No. You can't add blueprints for any ships without Reverse Engineering them.

It's a limit that must be surrendered to.

When you match the starting criteria (wealth, reputation and time spent playing) then you will be sent a message inviting you to get started.

Hi guys, I need an advice. I am currently in my new game and I am not that much advanced (no capital ships, no stations, 4 UTs, plot mission 3).

So my question is: Should I instal v2.0.02 now or wait until I finish the main plot, or wait to finish the main plot+have a station+lots of money for new system? I am also worried if I have to much UTs I will have to manually shut them down for this patch (orders to none) in which case it would be better to install now. But if I install now I might miss Avarice...

Help...

Thats a bit of a dilemma nikvest.

Think I might patch up to 1.4.03 and build myself up a bit before adding the new patch, especially if Avarice is important to you. Means you get to play with the goodies in the new patch later on as well. Might give the game a bit of new sparkle when it goes a bit dull as it did for me.

Can't see why you should have to stop your UT's though, I never did.

I read it on first few pages of this topic.

I also read you can stack up on money with 1.4.03 and THEN go to 2.0.02 because bid for Avarice will show up only when you cross to 2.0.02. Is that true?

Think the stopping UT's you are referring to was suggested for someone that was having problems with the game crashing. Haven't read any other references about stopping UT's anywhere else.

This Avarice is a funny thing. Some people got a message when playing 1.4.03 to bid for the sector and very few managed to actually successfully buy it through lack of funds. The sector never moved beyond being an Unknown sector in my game as it did for some others as well. The patch gives all these people, that wanted it, another chance to buy it.

With that in mind, it's probably not a bad idea to build up some cash reserves in 1.4.03 in case you can't afford the sector, if and when it's offered for sale, as you will get another chance to buy it after installing the 2.0.2 patch.

I meet the criteria, yet there's no mission message poping up. My relation with the Boron is Queen's Knight. Is this good enough? I've changed sectors, docked, etc. Nothing. I've played well past over 2 hours since meeting the conditions.

Need some advice, I have gotten HQ mission to point of going to unknown sectors past Maelstrom. Have got to final unknown, met an interceptor & found a Nova in Astroids & no pilot. What are u suppose to do?
I am partialy sighted so reading through all posts is impossible for me but I am def stuck? Please help

Keep flying South East, way off the map view and you will eventually find another asteroid belt. You will find what you are looking for in there. Don't give up

need some help with this problem. i dont know if it is a bug or it is normal that my hq is consuming energy cells on its own. i have stack it with around 60k energy cells then moments later it become less than 1k....btw, i havent build a single ship yet so..............i dunno if it is for maintainance or wat..

Check the Station Properties page and look at the "Trade with other races" option, and make sure it is "No". If it is "Yes" then it is possible for Energy Traders to dock and buy your Energy!

Alternatively, set the price for Energy at 20, which will inhibit them.
