Would like to add "be nice to see this functioning".

I can add command cues into the set-up. On execution in the command console however the ship just goes to command "none".

Jump options would be a bonus addition.

I've been dreaming about something like this since ... I can't remember any more... could have made a post about it way back during x3r... now it is finally possible (hurray Cycrow and menus!)

Just wondering off the head....

Would command queues becomes recursive??? (i.e. having a command queue that executes another command queue)

If this is possible, then the loops can possibly be handled in a more generic form... in fact.... BRANCHING COULD BECOME POSSIBLE...... LOL.... like implementing a new meta-script over the existing script engine.

before you know it, you could be adding meta-variables too (if you haven't already been doing something like that underneath already)... ;)

more, give us more!!!!!

lol.. more seriously, I think more details/tutorials could be useful on how to add on a new queue command (unless I missed out an existing one somewhat. if so, I apologize for my unbearable impatience :) ). For me, I had to read a couple of your scripts before I can roughly figure out. I think most casual scripters may not even go that far. Having a standard reference "template" on how to implement a wrapper for an existing script into a queue command could be useful too.

regards and pardon me if you heard this too many times: excellent work!

It's not if we win or lose that matters, it's that we stood and faced it.

Hi Cycrow. (Welcome back, by the way.) I still have problems with Saved Queues. I can directly tell a ship to run a Queue where I build the orders right then and there, and it works fine.

But if I build the queue ahead of time and save it, that's when I run into problems. I can then go to the ship and tell it to run a saved queue. I choose the queue to run. It's current order briefly flashes as "run a queue" then changes to "none" and the ship does nothing.

I've tried all different sorts of commands in the queue. It doesn't seem to matter. It won't run a saved queue.

That make sense?

Ok, theres an updated version available, this should fix the saved queues running, and creating queues without arguments

Looks like a handy tool.

I have a problem with it, though. After installing the SPK I cannot assign a hotkey to it. It's not in the "Interface" list. However, I am able to find it in the "Plugin Configuration" menu. Selecting your script and then selecting "Create with arguments" or "Create without arguments" does nothing. It goes blank for a moment, but that's all I get. ;)

Any suggestions?

can you set the script to include a queue and set it to repeat over and over indefinetly until you stop it?

you can set up a queue and get it to repeat a number of times, or continously

if you want a certain script to be used, you can easily added it to the available commands

then just create a repeated queue with that command, and your script will be run over and over until you deactive the ships command

great!!! thank you, installing!

(that hub mission was never going to get done manually with such huge requirements! unless I found an automated way of handling a freighter to do it)

Hi Cycrow,

This is a brilliant script, takes a lot of the tedious micro-management out of orders. Many thanks

Just one thing though- in case i'm missing it. Is there a "Jump to Sector" Option in this? I cannot seem to find it, and would be most useful...

no jump command yet, but adding commands is pretty easy, even other scripters can add new commands easily

Cool. Now i'm not a scripter, and would have no idea where to start- any of you kindly scripting heroes able to set that one up? It's the only command i'm missing in my quest for an end to micro-management...

Same here, selecting the option (in both the configuration and the ship command menu) returns me to the previous screen.

Perhaps there is a conflict with another script or mod I have installed. Is there any way to determine this?

(hangs head in shame)

Unfortunately i as well am having a problem with this script

I open the Plugins Configuration menu. (via hotkey)
I click "Cycrow: Command Queues" (others are listed here as well, satellite early warning network for example)
I click "Create with(out) Arguements"
...at this point it just returns me to the Plugins Configuration menu screen.

I also have a handful of other scripts/mods installed but they all seemed to be working fine (8+ hours of gameplay).

Ideas?

Am 100% willing to help diagnose the problem in whatever ways possible so just ask. (can even list the scripts/mods im using if desired)
