PM needs to be run as administrator!
Right click the PM exe then click run as administrator...I feel E-tarded.
Probably wouldn't hurt to run x3tc as admin too. Any thoughts on that?
I also noticed the aforementioned Disabled folder is gone.
Half the problem was the default folders. If you install into Program Files, there is always problems with administrator levels.
If you had installed into their own folders under the root, none of that would have happened. eg. \X3TC
I reinstalled all mods and scripts so the're working now, but some of them are working wrong (cheat script missing entries) and XTC keep claiming that my savegase are corrupted even if I have same mods installed
EDIT:
It looks like the game degenerated itself back to v2.0 for no reason (at least that's what menu says) WTF??

Last first, sounds like you reapplied an earlier patch by mistake. Just apply the 1-2.5 patch again.
Savegames are 'corrupted' or crash, because something stored in them is no longer in the game. For example, you own a ship for which the mod has been removed.

I dunno how I could reapply 2.0 patch by installing new plugin mannager
Anyway I reinstalled the game, reinstaled scripts and fake-patch'es, new plugin-manager and manage to run my saved game again, so it looks like it end well, eventually.
@Cycrow: I have an issue that maybe you can help me out with. I have this version of the software installed and everything works fine with the mods that I use. I installed a few ships and when I start a new game I can not dock anywhere. Any idea what might be the issue??

I recently had a problem with my game where the guns stopped working, it's fixed now, but it seems to have been an issue with the plugin manager that caused it. I think. I've included a link to the thread where it was sorted out, just thought I'd mention it here...
cycrow just done a total system re-install.
just installed your plugin manager and when i go 2 rn the tool it says my aplication configuration is incorrect and will not load! any ideas?
EDIT: sorry my bad! had 2 install that c++ thingy twice, didnt go right 1st time!

Works perfectly with the Steam version.
I got the gold bundle. But they install the expansion & X3 Vanilla separately instead of using some hybrid combination.
TC isn't an expansion, it's a completely new game based on the same engine that powered X3:Reunion. As such it is installed in a different folder and treated as a different game than X3.
Well... now... I ran into a complication. I have all the SPK packs I want inside the manager. Nothing is showing up in game, I have it set to modified and nothing, plain and simple there is nothing showing up what so ever. No AL plugins. It was working fine before but I uninstalled the game including the manager and then reinstalled the game, applying the patch and then started adding stuff to the manager again. Go to play the game with a new game start and no plugins.
What's going on... what did I do wrong and please tell me there is a way to fix this
Not even the basic required library scripts (the one in the required folder are showing up inside the manager) are showing
u could try activating the script editor and going into that in game, this would list all the scripts that it finds, this will make sure that they are all installed in the correct place
Yeah I did that before I installed anything inside the manager, I might have set the directory up wrong as the wrong path so I'm gonna play around with that to see if it affects anything
this is the current directory path where it installed itself. I have no other path for it to use so I'm sort of lost as to what to do. The manager also says there is one plugin available but I don't see it showing up on the list. I've removed all plugins and packages for the moment to try and figure this thing out
EDIT2: Right I can't seem to figure this out. I did something wrong and I can't pinpoint it. This all first happened when I removed the directory to get rid of all the plugins I had and then put the directory that was used before back so I could install all the stuff... maybe I didn't put the right directory?
