i have the same problems with installing !

the problem is the package is using a new compression rountine that was added in plugin manager 1.30

so u need to use 1.30 to be able to install them.

Ah.. okay what a bummer! I've been install the last stable version 1.20 not the Current Beta: 1.30 RC 1

I like this mod Its fun to jump a fleet arround a enemy cap ship during thoes military and race wars mods.

my wares are still showing up as
ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM16_12
ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM18_12
ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM17_15
ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM19_15

They work just fine, but the names are all messed up. Also if I use the cheat script to add them the ALSO appear as their normal names (Advanced Jumpdrive, Advanced Jumpdrive Accelertor, ect...)

Any ideas why this is happening?...I mean its not game-breaking, as everything still works, just more of a nuisance

open the TwareT and try to change the discription number .. i had the same problem by SCS - i've uninstall and install so its was fine

Ok I see the wares and their ID's in the "T" file, but I'm not sure where to go from there.

Okay.. Du hast zwei Möglichkeiten:

1. Du kannst die Waren mit Cyrows Cheat Paket installieren und die alten falschen Einträge löschen oder

2. Du änderst in deiner TWareT.pck / bzw. im Sprach Datei die Einträge so wie ich es beschrieben habe.

Im Text file stehen die ID von Cycrow

<t id="12413">Jumpdrive Energy Generator</t>
<t id="12414">Creates the energy used for jumping so the jumpdrive no logner requires energy</t>
<t id="12393">Advanced Jumpdrive</t>
<t id="12394">Combines the jumpdrive with its own energy generator making a completly energy less jumpdrive</t>
<t id="13023">FTL Jumpdrive Extension</t>
<t id="13024">This upgrade allows you to jump to a position within your current sector</t>
<t id="13003">Advanced Jumpdrive Accelertor</t>
<t id="13004">This upgrade speeds up the jumping for the advanced jumpdrive</t>

Diese ID's stehen für die Ware in der Datei TwareT so wie ich es oben beschrieben habe.

In deinem Beitrag werden aber andere Slots verwendet und somit auch andere IDs.

Beispiel:

ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM16_12 = ID: 12403
ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM18_12 = ID: 12423
ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM17_15 = ID: 13013
ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM19_15 = ID: 13033

Du siehst die ID's sind nicht korrekt (stimmen nicht überein) !!

Du kannst jetzt in der Sprachdatei die ID austauschen oder Du tauschst die ID in der TwareT Datei aus. Wenn Du jetzt das Spiel startest sollten dort die richtigen Namen stehen..

Warum das Script das macht, weis ich nicht, das kann dir nur cycrow sagen. Er hat das script geschrieben.

Schreibe ob es geklappt thx.

Your scripts I have enjoyed very much through x3r and now in x3tc..

I was happy to find your advanced jumpdrive available for tc, but the "jump to my stations" menu didn't seem to be working for me.. did a little digging and it wanted the 'lib.cycrow.menu.mystations' library file, which, according to your spk explorer, was not included in the advanced jumpdrive file..?

I'm not sure if I missed something, somewhere.. but I was able to find it here.. http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=249004 and all is well.

I thought perhaps you'd forgotten to include it in the spk, or did I miss something?

I was wondering what if any special program is needed to view the contents of the TwareT file?

All the Adv jump drive items are showing up as the missing ZA_EMP
I have the beta of the manager and 2.7.1 of the game. I think I also have all the nessary side plugins in there most recent version.

I was also wondering,(I havent bought any to see if they work even with the name error), Do they still work as intended?

Idea Requires: Plugin Manager
Idea Requires: Ware Manager
Idea Requires: Hotkey Manager

AND.... Requires: EMP v2.7 here

OR an error of false ID's in your T-file

make sure u dont have any old version of EMP installed, as that will effect the wares like that.

the latest plugin manager has the latest one included, so u shouldn't need to install it seperatlly.

however, if u have installed one seperatly, and its the older version, it'll override the one that the plugin manager creates causing the problem

Errr where does one get their hands on jump beacons?

Whenever I try to install this, the little install box says it requires Terran Conflict, which is what I am playing. I can install it, but it doesn't run when I start the game and if I close and reopen the plugin manager, the mod is no longer installed.

Well I do see a problem, your using the 1.20 version of the plugin manager, try using the 1.30 version, as far from what I can tell version 1.30 is stable as I have been using it and it's given me no trouble and I haven't spotted any bugs
