Found It
I didn't realize there was a required file for it to run. I did however find it in another post. It might be worth mentioning that the required files can be found here http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=218088 Agian thanks for your great work Cycrow.

Nice to see your work again Cycrow. I know that in X3:R there was a 'sat UT trader' script that by design kept your UT's under control by trading only in sectors with this type of sat. Would there be any way something like this could be incorperated into your early warning script? Thanks for the script btw

I'll second this one!Sandalpocalypse wrote:Hi cycrow, minor suggestion. If a satellite detects a ship it's [SEWN] label could go red. My main motivation is gaining a bit more ability to tell which one of my "Unknown Sector" satellites I want to remove from the network since it's detecting ships I don't care about.

Cycrow, do SEWN wings automatically move between sectors to defend places where you get warnings?Cycrow wrote:New update available: V1.20

Also, would it be possible to add a command for SEWN to ships with Explorer software to deploy sattelites in a more intelligible manner? I know MARS is supposed to do it but I can't seem to get it to work quite right...

Hi,
That's excellent Cycrow. Tell me, when a wing has responded & hopefully dealt with the threat what is it's default behaviour? Obviously for fastest reponse we want our SEWN wings to use their jump drives so they'll need to refuel every now & again. With the correct settings in 'Autojump' ships will refuel upon docking. If SEWN wings return home then they'd automatically refuel ready for the next response call. This works for M6 and smaller obviously, not sure how larger ships would handle this.
Cheers,
Scoob.

if the wing had a default homebase set, they will fly back home and dock. If they dont, they will just defend the position around the satalite until they are called upon again
also, the satellites will only call wings that are not busy, ie, once they have finished clearing out the sector they were called in to defend

Not sure if this is caused by this script, but seems the most likely.
In any sector where I have SATs and have activated SEWN, I get messages about ships in the system, but they are blue.
So It warns me that argon prime is in danger, when I get there, there are pirate ships. but they are blue so nothing is attacking them. They just fly around happily doing nothing. Same in Legends end. About 20-30 pirate ships, all flying around.
Anyone else had this problem?
