EA-FD = Egosoft April - Fool's Day ????

All the members joined on 3st March = coincidence ???

Nicely done, as usual.

If true (Fool that I am) I think it would be nigh impossible for an outside agency to moderate this forum to level of success achieved by the current mods. This is quite frankly the best moderator site I have ever been a member of and how on earth you deal with us 'off topic' crowd with such a cool head is beyond me!

My favourite is this one from the BBC, well before my time - but often shown.

When April Fool is past

Whatever time zone you are in on 1st April, don't forget to finish your pranks before mid-day or bad luck will dog you for a least a month after!

You sure this is an April-fool? I've seen one EA-FD guy quite regular on here today and he seems to be on the ball. I.E. Closing very old topics, moving others to where they should be, closing unecessary topics. etc etc as a mod would do.

Or do you think he could be a decoy? lol

The Borg Collective still have to function as an unit during the April Fool morning, though if they have not redesignated before mid-day they have to stay as '2 of 7', '4 of 7' etc

Well I saw this news late, and was suckered as well! It was the EA-FD in creative that I noticed first, you hardly ever see moderators names on creative - guess the lads have better things to do than read stories, and so on!

Collective or Forum?

Yes! And since you can only have up to '7 of 7' it would be a good assumption that Bernd, CBJ and the others have actually been assimilated, or, worse still! actually are a Collective hence the fall back to number designations. At least they survived the Millennium bug! I hope they are not xenophobic Xenon anyway

If this is not a joke, where is the traditional Fools Day prank?
