Tried Italian to German - wouldn't recommend it. Italian - English however, did quite well. I spat out whole sentences which made sense most of the time.

Yeah sorry about that. But your video has been selected as a test subject as it was of optimal length and it just happened to be lying around ready for upload.

Anyways, did you know that Youtube increased the maximum length of videos from 10 minuets to 15 minutes!

I think you should go post on the Italian thread and tell em to bring their best fleet and match it up against our best fleet (the winners of each competition)

Worse. Was preping to do a backup due to having a bad vibe but a worse case scenario occurred before action took place. I'm quite certain it's the result of something bad in the near future going back in time.

Sent TJ the latest files before the drive crashed. Think he wants to catch up on vids first though.

The fleet spawner 1.0 lives on, the 2.0 version was lost. Along with the future stuff for XFF II that was being worked on.
Since work will be restarted again on the 2.0 version I'm thinking of having a ship appear at the start allowing one to communicate with it to set up then run the fight and jump out. Oddly enough it was going to support multiple languages too.

So far they seem to get the hint with spamfleets and want to avoid these. So far I'm have the first fleet listed - I hope they take the bait and want to get my inside out

Just a heads up...

There is a game on steam that plays space battles somewhat like X3. You can build your fleet up and turn it loose to fight with AI only. Just like you guys are doing here.

I think what you guys are doing here is a great thing. It's just that there is a tool out there that can help you learn what makes a successful battle plan.

And it's cheap like lunch this weekend.

I just thought all X players would want to know. It seems that our experience with space battles OOS and IS apply over in that other game too. Certainly gave me an advantage.

It's easy to say that. But X AI follows a, well, unique approach to AI behavior. The game you suggest might be a great idea - never heard of it so far and unless there is a non-Steam-version I won't see the great stuff about it - but it's called X-Verse Fleet Fest and the most important letter is X. It won't be XFF if it's running in another game. AND battle plans in X - with THAT AI

I don't see why my ISS or OS experience would help me in a different game - no matter how great it is and how easy it would make to build fleets. Anyway, a direct link might help to alter my opinion
