I think we'll have to agree to differ on that one - I think it sucks (and would suck even more so in space combat). If X3:TC had the same system I quite probably wouldn't play it.

I think the GTA:SA system works rather well IN THAT GAME. The main difference between it and X3, of course, is that X3 has to worry about up and down, whereas GTA:SA doesn't...it would get horribly confusing trying to turn the camera to see something while flying the ship.

Have to disagree with u there. Absolutly not hard or confusing mate, it works a treat in star trek legacy as its a similar method as gta sa.

Yep. It has been said many a time.

There was a rumour that the XTM team were working with Ego on this, that was never denied and implied to be true on their forum.
