Hate to pile on - cause this is a great tool that saves a lot of time, but I too now have locked up shipyards. So now, they show as busy (constructing at 0%) I can't finish the ships with the tool anymore.


Also - in trying to get the shipyard to finish an Arwan, so I could build some consruction ships - the game apparently got confused and gave me the Arwan, but after I built another ship.

Then, when building my two construction ships - one after the other - they each are bugged. might not be the fault of this product, but both have some quirks to them that prevent me from every finishing a station.

BTW - to those that also had the ships show up with no skin - I simply deleted all the lines of the savefile describing the unfinished surfaces.

But, none of those ships are accepting captains in the pilot slot, each in the cargo bay. Unsure if that's a bug or not. Seems like that was a bug in the game from earlier on too so might be some interaction here.

anyway - thanks again for the tool. Hope you can figure out why the shipyards are now busted.

I don't have time to look for a solution regarding the stuck shipyars. Maybe somewhere next week.
In the meantime i added a feature to rename Ships!

I just pretend that when I am using the savegame editor, that I have actually gone into the captain's office temporarily to manage fleet and company affairs. :P

BUG / ISSUE:

Fedhelm the mining-ship is not shown as a picture in the editor and its name is shown as: units_size_l_ore_collector_macro - now also ingame :D
Built in a dock, not capped.

EDIT: its name cant also be modified. Once saved and re-opened, its reverted back to units_size_l_ore_collector_macro

PS: ignore the reset-shipyard REQ, staying in Omicron for a while resetted the shipyard.

same, was building 2 arawns, one in onicron and one in devries, and a feldham in devries, used the tool to make them, they all come out with the sides unfinished (graphics glitch with all ships done this way) and the ship yards still saying said ship is at 0%.....sooooo all the shipyards are full and unable to produce anything.

I finished the plot, and now because of this im unable to continue.

Im having a similar problem... NPC was building Arawan 67% and it was stuck :roll: Also shipyard had all resources so it was a bug... Anyway ship was gone from shipyard, but when I landed to build another ship NPC was showing me that Arwan is still building and it is on 67% :cry: Now I cant build anything :(

EDIT: @ Isbeorn Is there any way you can add opinion to add resources to our stations and shipyards ?
It's not world hunger because we can't feed poor,it's because there will never be enough to feed the rich .....

Seems like lots of us are having the same problem with using the editor to speed ships up, a idea also, be able to save or copy and paste drone load outs?

while I give you credit for being able to create this mod. I worry but that it will remove the need for anyone to think for themselves. Most young ones will gravitate to this to "cheat" instead of actually playing. Then a week later will be filling forum with demands for a better game

"cos this sux brah!, I am bored".....

I did look at it by the way, an no offense but I removed it because of the fact it makes the game stupidly easy :(...

Other than that, nice work from a purely technical standpoint (I couldnt program a "." to show up on screen lol

Many of us is using this mod because game is broken and buggy not because we want to use it as a cheat :roll: We cant fix or build ships trough shipyard because of bugs. Economy is broken and trading don't wok so we cant wait for NPC to bring materials needed for building. Player ships are still buggy with trading even with 1.19. (I want to build my station but I cant because I cat buy construction ship because of NPC ship being stuck on 67% for no reason).

Trading is working just fine if you restarted on 1.9. Thing I mean with this mod is when you (like me) steal 20 ships a day, an they all get damaged to hell, you can instantly repair an rearm all of them without cost or time.

I have 12 freighters working for my station manager, an they are all damaged to hell...

Im liberating materials and ships from PMC too :) But problem when I sell materials captain tells me trade complete and hi still have same amount of material in cargo (didn't sell them) :roll: I was boarding and selling goods to shipyard to star building ships. But that don't work... (building and trading is part of economy too ) So I would say Economy/Trading is only 40% fixed :roll: Anyway is there a way to tell what that r******* shipyard needs if tis not a bug ????? And that second part of shipyard is not having problem building ships :roll:

Edit: I did restart game after 1.19 beta

hmm, I hadent thought of that. Explains why my manager has not sold all the goods in freighters. Though he has sent them out to buy goods, so it is "partly" working.

Like every cheat program, you have to consider yourself how much you will use it. I avoid using it for my savegames, but sometimes it is just stupid without it. For example i managed to get all mats for the plot station by boarding, but after waiting 3 hours that my 6 rahanas would finally deliver those wares and got stuck everytime......

REQUEST: Remove or "reset" crew-member option

Now that some engineers go permanently to "none" and refuse to fix anything, time to drop some useless junk out of the airlock...

That, or totaly reset them, maybe random-generate new crew-member or so.

Once more we go to a editor to fix bugs... ¤#"%#%#&%!!

If your engineers skill is low it will take him longer to fix things.... Also it takes long time for 5 star engineer to just fix engines.(5m I think) and after everything is fixed your hull should be start repairing hull up to 75%.... Im using 1.19 and it works for me :D Also you can always bring new engineers and replace/fire old one :)
