Hi, Dave/exo, and all of you.
I wish to know if you have planned an update of your amazing program to include the features added by the XTENDED mod and some other fabs (e.g. the hidden/disabled missiles fabs) available via some scripts or mods.
It would be very valuable for all of us. Please, think of that.
Thanks.

I guess there's the possibility of a version that reads from game files,
so it would be non-specific for mods, but it'd be quite tricky & would
probably involve having to run a scipt as well to pick up custom factory
initialisations.
Can't see that happening any time soon.
I did briefly look at an XTM specific version, but there were so many non-sensical quirks
(possibly read that as bugs) in some special (NPC) XTM factories that I lost faith.
However it is possible that all player-buyable factories are reasonably
'quantifiable' & would fit in OK, but with X3:TC looming....
i.e. more probably the next version of this is likely to be a X3:TC compatible version
(after I've had the full fun of playing it first!) - assuming there's any differences.
Good idea though

Please, please...
I beg for you to make an X3:TC version of the program, cos I like it very much, it's ESSENTIAL to me.
I don't like the spreadsheet version much, cos it is a little difficult to manage with it (at least, for me), not counting the topic of macros in excel.
Perhaps it would be possible to think of a version someway extensible for different mods (via plugins or similar).
So, congratulations for your work and give it a chance for the upcoming games!!!

OK,
I did start on an integrated version of this, along with an updated
SectorPlanner (a la Lord Such) & AsteroidSeeker + maybe other things,
i.e one that'll track any mods to the ecomomy - got some of the UI done & other bits.
But I've now got redirected towards work on the model-viewer,
which I'll attempt to get out first for TC.
But there ain't no promises there...

Hello, this program has been a great find, however, after using it on Vista for awhile the drop down menus stop working, not sure what is up with it, does anyone have any ideas?
When I first installed it, it worked great, but now once I pick something using the drop down menu (say, a race), all other drop down arrows dissappear. If I save that, close it and reload it, then I can pick one menu item again (say, the type of factory) and once again everything breaks.
I've seen the other calculators, this one was my favorite though
being able to keep track of partial complexes and such. The online one I can't seem to save them, so it'd be great if I could get this working, if possible
Edit: nevermind, after days of not working properly it decided to work again
Sorries!

I'd really like too, but haven't played fo a while, 2.5 notwithstanding,
it's playing that inspires me to update (cos I need it myself),
and it won't come out reliably-right just 'updating it', without using it.
Probably won't get to it until Bonus Pack comes out, can't see me
playing further (vanilla) without station-manager, CLS etc, so essential !
(extra station commands notwithstanding - which are good, especially
the turn-off individual stations thing).
