Game Version 7.6 English
Modded State: Vanilla
Gamestart: Spear of the Patriarch
Nature of the problem: see below
Possibly relevant: Save started with just split vendetta enabled, later added all the others minus kingdom end
Steps to reproduce: Using a Yasur Mk3 collide with an abandoned ship when after flying > 60km away from it after it bailed

I have only had this issue on the spear of the patriarch save I have where I used the Yasur as a playership, it may not be the only variable. It doesn't always occur, and I believe the common thread may be bumping into it. This makes claiming abandoned ships much more difficult because you have to find the invisible data leak.

I got a save where the issue is occurring. A save & load after the ship is abandoned may be needed to replicate it.

Reloading this save puts the ship in it's actual place, rather than where it appeared to be. I had made this save inside the model of the PE.

I ran into this issue again today in the current Beta - on new save, No Yasur involved - just the Pegasus vanguard I'm in colliding with an abandoned Nova Vanguard (HKC-379) before attempting to claim it. and the model separating from it's collision.

And it happened again with Eclipse Vanguard (AVU-238) bumping into it before attempting to claim it - So I think the full steps to replicate this it is 1. Have a ship bail. 2. have that ship enter low attention mode (leave the area) 3. Save and load the game. 4. Bump the ship as you attempt to claim it.

Also reliably reproducing issue in my save. Beta 8.0 v4

Requested dxdiag and save coming shortly.

Player start:
Spear of the Patriarchy

How to reproduce:

Fly any ship into an abandoned vessel,
Get into spacesuit and toggle scan mode.
Signal leak is located at abandoned ships relative position prior to impact from player ship

Issue is able to be corrected by reloading save or exiting and relaunching game.
