[#2869] Stuck of dialog frame (Press F)

I have been seeing this since the 7.0 update.
I do run a couple of mods, so there is that.
Old hardware. AMD GPU 6750.
Woody's work around does work, but there is a delay between mode switching that takes just long enough to make you worry that you just screwed your session.
Beats reloading everything.

Simply pause the game, then toggle the screen mode - and nothing will happen in the meantime

this dialogues screen is stuck open for me - how do i remove it - it pastes over other boxes on my screen and is very annoying, only a restart of the game seesm to clear it - please fix!!
