Spinning ships in map view
I notice sometimes in the map, when ships are in combat out of sector, they appear to be wildly spinning around. Could this possibly be fixed? It looks really bad, even if it may not impact gameplay that I am aware of. It is one more thing that contributes to poor impressions of the game.

Dunno, never bothered me personally. It is a by-product of the raw mathematical calculations going on when things are not presented in the "rendered realm".

You can even notice that sometimes 4 or 5 K and I are spining around an S ship without being able to kioll it ever... It is of course an issue.... should be fixed.

It SEEMS like when that happens they become combat-ineffective too. The ships seem to spin and spin and do almost nothing to each other. Also It makes trying to see which ships are involved a pain since everything is a spinning blur.

OOS combat and IS combat are completely different. This is what keeps the xenon from overrunning the game world. OOS combat xenon I vs 5 tealdi destroyers?, no problem, IS? the xenon I kills them all. You can literally influence the fate of your game world simply by being there. Company regard held back the xenon for a long time until I actually showed up there, then the xenon slaughtered all the defenders. Even with the recent patch, OOS combat and IS combat are no where near each other, the game plays completely different between the two.
