They are most likely preparing a larger patch that cover more in-game issues or even hammering out more complex issues like performance.

Its more likely that you are impatient, then they are inactive.
Just because someone doesnt pay the gas bill in time, doesnt mean he/she dont have any money.

u wrong who don't pay on time BECAUSE they don't have money any other reason are just excuse.

Yes it will take time,
Yes we ALL want that golden patch wich brings us trading and fighting and building and sometimes thinking,
Yes I'myself check the steamboards daily,
Yes it will not help to rant and shout and spam this little Forum,
Yes they work on it as hard and fast as they can,
Yes they do everything to bring us a better (functioning) Game ..

but hey.. what else we have to do except waitin' and checkin'?

" ok not that thats out of the way come one people these things take time and i would rather them patch the game with out buggering the rest of it up. So, lets give them the time to get this done and done right. If you do something right the first time there is no second time, and we all have to admit that patching a patch is a bit redundant.

Honestly... since release of X Rebirth, this forum is WORSE than the Modern Warfare 3 COD forum. Seriously. All this QQ and "gimme refund plzZz I have three children".... It´s just.... Argh. Additionally, this crap is not helping anyone.

Is people still trying to play this game? I bought it and shelved it... And I would advice ANY past X's gamer to do the same.

You will not like to "play" this half finished product... Because when the Development Cycle end, we enter Beta and then we get a properly released product (Mark my words... We will get a "Gold Box rerelease")... You may become tired of it, preventing you from enjoying the coherent, balanced and polished product, XR has the potential to be.

Some1 tried to "rush" patches, with the disastrous effects you all have seen...

...This game can't be fixed by rushed patches...

The Development Cycle, interrupted by this "release", has to keep on going... And maybe in February we may get a Beta of something close to what has been advertised (EGOSOFT has a remarkable tradition of doing proper Christmas "hiatus"... So you can add 1 month to any figure you may think of now). I think that 2 months is enough effort to at least finish the entire AI script suite which is simply not completed, then they will have to test it and, OFC, offer some Universe balance (I'm not sure if the UI will get altered at some point... Because that requires some1 at Egosoft to realize that designing a console UI for a game that can't be run on consoles and an optimal gameplay that doesn't match the mayority of console gamers "profiles" it's not precissely a "smart move").

...So in short, if you aren't here for the long run... Don't smash your head against a wall... The wall will not move an inch.

Saying that, I'm glad you asked first!

I guess they are working hard on it, lower the Kalashnikov patch release rate to be able to fix more stuffs, and to tests fixes, and this is not something bad IMHO, even if I can't wait too!!!!!

go, have a look in the modding/scripting part of the forum, they have a lot of stuff fixed already or did great workarounds

i dont want to have to MOD my game to play it. From my exp MODS can actually add to the problem and cause more problems each time they patch it. Same as having to edit save files all the time.

Mods can be really cool, thanks to point us on this!

Anyway, like other ones, I would like to get all this from Vanilla for now, and will think adding mods when we will have a fully fonctionnal and stabilized version of the game. I did it sucessfully for X3 AP and will do probably in some months for X Rebirth. We have some spectacular skilled guys in the Mods sub-forum for sure!

yeah, i noticed alot of people try to mod the game so people can actually get on with it... but i really rather just wait for the game to get completed first...

i mean the game isnt a finished product.. egosoft knows it but they cant legally say it else Deep silver will get them into serious trouble.

how is modding going to do the game any good?

i'll just wait it out till egosoft can actually finish the game fully... give them a few months i'd say. it'll be painfull, but i waited over 2 years. a few more months wont hurt.

I wouldn't be surprised if you have some other games you can go and play, then come back to this one when the patch is out. Having every other thread on this forum asking "is it out yet?" like some spoiled brat of a kid sitting in the back seat of a car getting fed up with the journey isn't going to make it come along any faster
