Drama queens. ha. I've got a brand new Haswell i7 and an extremely high-end GPU that just came out a few months ago, and I can hardly run the game at a playable FPS. Some missions are just broken, trading doesn't seem to work at all, highways are like a boring minigame or something, some people can't play the game at all, etc.BlackRain wrote:Sorry but I disagree with most of what you are saying. Highways are fine, UI isnt that bad, just needs more information and more commands and such.
Bunch of Drama Queens in my opinion. Also, you shouldn't assume people don't like the game. There are a lot of loud voices here and on steam but thousands of people bought the game, I don't see thousands of different people complaining, just a few dozen of the same people complaining. Not saying that it isn't representative of the whole, but you can't say it is either.
I'm thankful that I missed the deadline for alpha/beta testing by two weeks, because I'd be ashamed right now to be associated with the release of this game.
I'll be honest with you. I'm furious. I haven't been this disappointed since Stargate Worlds got mothballed. This is the last time I'll ever purchase one of Egosoft's products, and several other X veterans have said the same. We're not pulling shit out of our asses, the game is like a broken Freelancer remake that was falsely launched on the X name.
The only reason I'm not asking for a refund is because I'm not petty enough to gripe over the $45 I paid for it. Bernd warned people this wasn't X4, well thanks, but he should have warned us that this wasn't an X game, because it isn't.
