Steam X3TC Terran Plot Not Advancing

So i'm about 5 game days into my first ever session. I've completed much of the terran plot, but about three days ago I got stuck, and the plot has not progressed at all since then. Here's what seems to be happening:

I completed the mission where you go to argon sector m148, have your buddies shot out of the station, and then take them to heretic's end. SUPPOSEDLY, they were supposed to contact me after a little while. 3 game days have passed with absolutely no word from the terran.

In addition, whenever I go into terran sectors, facilities are not offering any missions at all. Period. No taxi, no combat, no station build, absolute 100% no missions.

Now, the only reason I could possibly think of as to why this is happening is that my reputation with terran is a little bit below 0. I accidentally killed a freighter of theirs and they were less than pleased. But, as far as I know, even being COMPLETELY hostile with a faction, you can still do missions for them? And this shouldn't interfere with the plot?

I've searched for anyone else experiencing this exact issue, and so far found no one else experiencing the same thing. If anyone knows a way to fix this, or has heard of this before, i'd be greatly appreciative. I REALLY want to get to aldrin, and having to restart my entire game after having several traders setup, with a skiron as my flagship currently, doesn't sound enticing.

Actually being on the bad-boy list with a race does stop them giving station missions. Improve your Terran rep and then see if they come back. BTW, I don't think the Terrans ever give build missions.

As to the plot not progressing, a guide says this:

She and Pearle (the arrested one) will come flying out of an airlock in spacesuits. You need to pick them up.

DON’T use the Cbeam script. It works fine, but the mission will fail, you get a mission completed message, and that’s the end of the Terran missions for you. Run over the suits, or use the pick up astronauts ship command.

Once you have both on board, Heywood will scream at you to get the hell out of there, so jump to Heretics End and dock with the Station that Jackson’s at.

Mission ends.

Terran Mission 6.

Back to docking at the Orbital Base in the Asteroid Belt. Big discussion and then Pearle comes aboard.

Mission finishes when you make it to the Orbital Defence Station in Heretic’s End. It’ll be some time before your next mission.

Any clues in that?

Terrans do give build missions. Most often for CW stations and are likely to be found in "Hetertics End". Also they can send you to a sector that you dont have clearance for as well. Build in Venus. But, don't have access to it due to plot restrictions not opening the sector up even if you are the Rank Hero of Sol.

@OP: Go to "Heretic's End" and do protect / patrol missions for the Argon stations as they generally give pirates / xenons to kill. Since it is Terran sector. You will gain rep with them.

But i've recieved no notifications as per the next mission starting, and i've even visited the asteroid belt and seen no plot symbol above the HUD element.

Maybe docking at the station would fix that, but I can't really dock with my rep at -1. In addition, building rep with the Terran seems more or less impossible if i can't do missions, as enemies so far have never really entered their territory?

Heretics End has Argons who you can work for. Just Take defend Stations from them. If the Wheat Farm, Rimes Fact, SPP or Beef fact is destroyed do a build mission that places a station in Heretic's End.
