[Script] UT profit
Just a little script that uses the built-in local variable $Gain for every universe trader.
Installation
Unzip into your X3 folder
How
You should see an additional command 'UT Profit' in your ship's trade menue. Click that and then select one of your UT's from the galaxy / sector map. Now check your message log. It should contain a time stamp 'days', 'hours', 'minutes' played and the total amount of credits your UT has earned for you.
Limitations
If you need to restart your UT the total profit value will be reset.

Hi euclid,
I've seen requests for this sort of info on the main forum, so this is bound to come in useful.
Quick suggestion:- There is more info available for UTs which you could include in the report, which would make it even more useful. I can't recall all that's available, but certainly things like the UT level would be something people might like to see, given that it's sometimes difficult to find (I know people can check the title against a list, but since you are doing a report...)

- Select the trade command from 1 of your ships.
- Scroll down to the UT Profit command and select it.
- You then select the trader whose profit you want to view.( I think you can only do it if it is NOT docked at a station)
- You should immediately get a message (in your Log) showing you the information.

edit: nope they seem to be correct, are they supposed to be .xlm files compared to every other file in the catalogs are .pck ?
edit2: do i have to activate it somewhere?

What I did is:
Opened/Unzipped the UT profit folder
Inside it there are 2 other folders:
"Scripts" and "T"
I moved the contents of these two folders to the folders by the same name in the X3 Directory on my PC.
After that the UT profit option appeared in the trade menu of the ships,
I need to scrolls the menu 1 page down to see it, the command menus grow depending on how many scripts are installed.
. . .
I hope this helps , otherwise you'll need to wait for someone more knowledgeable to reply.
ps. did you enable the script editor? I don't if that is a requirement.

Sector trading question?
hi
i want a script that tells me how my traders are doing. for example, after a certain amount of time, they send me a message telling me how much profit they have made and so on?
is there a script to do this?
thanks
