earlier I come here with great enthusiasm and curiosity, hoping to see something good. Now all hope is lost but I'm still here, though any good news I do not expect already. only disappointing.

So you speak for those others on this forum too? I would wager that the majority of disheartened X fans who gave up or are too frustrated to care left this forum a long time ago.

Many have gone on to other games like Roguey who has an entire forum section dedicated to Rebirth being vaporware.

Your glasses can be as rose colored as you want, but every day there is no game or release date is another day perspective buyers look elsewhere.

or perhaps many people are perfectly happen to go away from the forums to do other things and then get the game when its finally out.

it might surprise you, but not everyone puts thier life on hold while they wait for a game to be released

just because people are not activly looking at the forums everyday doesn't mean they have lost interest in ever getting the game

Well - 10 years on this forum has taught me one thing.

Patience is required.

I pop in about every 3 months these days. See what's up - then move on to another game. Geting hung up on one game or project is really bad for your karma IMO. you end up wishing your life away waiting for a game. That can't be a good thing can it?

And one has done more with less in 6 months than the other has with more in two years.

We have stickies at the top with information, posts with concept art, screenshots, music tracks, videos, interviews, Questions & Answers and CBJ updating, in what he can already and a release date for this year. I do not want the game to be spoiled, I want to discover the features and ships and stuff in game. Where I can interact with it, no in a forum. There is more than enough information to make yourself a rough idea of how the game is going to be, how the graphics are going to look like, for Christ sake, they showed and spoiled the "lazers" turrets.

SC, have to send updates, I already paid for the game, that game, SC, I own it. So he better tell me what he is doing with my money and the progress he is making, because the bugger is not paying me any interest for my money. And he better doesn't spoil the game features before the release.

I couldn't agree more with BarrenEarth, but they did gave us making of videos. And those are great. Can we ask a few question about releases of those videos. Like... are you planing them to do weekly, monthly, quarterly...

As i have said before Egosoft has on numerous occasions explained why they cannot give more information, after those official posts which are there to read for everyone here have been posted asking for more info all the time is like listening to a stuck record, and no amount of posts asking for more info will bring the game to you any faster, i ask people to act like the adults they are supposed to be and wait until Egosoft is in a position to release more info on the games progress.

They just gave us some info and video and they are aleady crying how bad game engine is without realizing that this is not final product

Maybe, but this is not the fact. On the video we can see not even beta-build, so explosion effects may improve, but they can be cut too...

Man, its already been said that the game is not beta yet... there is no way the game will be released before last quarter.
