yes my game is installed in program files.ill try moving it and trying again. didnt think about that.

atleast not getting the cheat package to work forced me to learn how to use the script editor to do most of what the package does.

Would like ot grab this to get rid of a troublesome bugged ship, (a Q has got stuck inside a station and and has somehow gained immortatlity) but the link on the first page comes up with 'account suspended', is there a alternative link anywhere? ta.

having problem with the pack as well.. when l try to dock at one of my complexes.. although l see the arm come down, the ship isn't docked...have attempted without the script and l am able to .. is there any chance of downloading the scripts individually?

With the SPK Explorer that comes with the Plugin Manager you are able to extract the .spk-archive. However, the problem you described is probably not related to the use of the cheat package, as it also occurs in the Vanilla game.

saw someone with with this issue post earlier on but nobody ever replied with solution.
when trying to install this... obviously thru plugin manager 1.30 since theres no manual install it fails constantly just drops a giant list of files it didnt install and no cause for this. game is in program files on c drive. granted i run 64bit version so its program files (x86) but plugin manager detects it just fine so what gives? is there any manual version of this mod -_-.

the solution to this has actually been mentioned quite a few times.

the problem is windows access rights, windows is blocking the plugin manager from writing files to program files.

you can try running in admin mode, or adjust the access rights to the game directory.

althou the best solution is to not install the game into program files

hmmm could re activate that hidden admin account and install it hard way but :P i extracted files out of the pack and manually put them in so im good :lol:

Anyone know how I can un-install this without ruining my save game? I mean, can i just disable / uninstall the SPK?

The cheat menu is very good, but basically too good. I wanted to cheat a little cuz i lost a saved game and had to start over. But now I see the temptation to just cheat myself "a new ship" for example is just too much and yet I know that will ruin my game experience, so if I can uninstall it somehow that would be much better.

You can un-install/disable this mod at any time because basically it does not affect anything in game unless you request it.

This cheat package has made all the difference to my game- since I couldn't use it to board the #deca, I instead cloned it and boarded the clone :D

Can it be used to expand the cargobays on ships past their maximum?

The cheat package probably is compatible, but not the Plugin Manager (as mentioned by Killjaeden here). Extracting the spk-archive (Plugin manager should come with an spk-explorer) and simply copying the script- and t-files in their respective folders might work though.

No, that can only be done via mod (i.e. change the cargobay values in the TShips file).

Many thanks for this pack! I just used it to fix a problem in my game where due to FF plotline 10 military convoy ships were sitting at military base at Argon sector M148 & now all the hundreds of trade ships who have been unable to dock to the base for eons can now move to other places to sell their wares.

Also using this cheat pack we can easily create custom starts :D

An example would be setting all plots to completed, setting Xenon notoriety to positive (all other races/factions to hostile) and giving the player a Xenon PX while getting rid of/selling all other property & then setting the entire universe (except for Xenon sector 472 where the player is) to undiscovered mode!!! :D

lol then save your game, uninstall all scripts if you can & then reload & then save again then distribute.... ... .. . Custom start frenzy anybody????

When you try to download the plugin manager it gives a 404 error. Is there an alternative download site?

Yes, you just install it as usual to TC directory then open up the Scripts folder and copy cheat scripts (you can find them easily if you just set the sorting to date created) to addon\scripts and also copy the tfile 1000 to addon\t folder and you should be set. However currently cheat menu entry under the custom is now taken by AP Fleet menu so you'll have to improvise a bit.
