The cloning process now complete Alien ND #6 accesses the company account and uses a small fraction to purchase a new ship, nothing fancy just a standard Vidar. The residual memory from the last backup of Alien ND #5 instructs Alien ND #6 on the optimum configuration of weapons and equipment.

As The Path Of Righteousness makes it's way out of the shipyard, an unfortunate Caiman, which upon scanning was revealed to be a notorious pirate with a bounty so large, it could not fail to be ignored, was The Righteousness' first scalp on the flight path toward true salvation.

And in the Vidar's wake, death and destruction followed.

After spending some time to get enough guns to make his Tyr worth, TDKPS P2P jumps 1 click away from the Vidar, on a place that allows his broadside, top and frontal turrets to have a clear shot at the it. Alien ND pushes his engine to the maximum and starts on evasive manouvers, but the Tyr has just too many cannons. The Vidar takes a few hits and it's finally destroyed by an artillery shell. TDKPS then P2P's to an unknown sector with only one gate and destroys it to track another ship down without interference.

Bruce was on a mapping expedition in a Boreas. While most folk would
use an M5, it's dangerous out in in these unknown sectors, so he was
taking no chances.

As he is trundling along in an uncharted sector with only one gate,
to his amazement a Tyr appears from nowhere.

Enraged that someone is set to jump his claim on this new sector
Bruce lets fly with 2 banks of PPC fire while it is busy destroying
the gate.

This leaves him with a problem. How to get home.

Fortunately omong the wreckage he is able to recover a P2P jump
drive, It's badly damaged and good for only jump.

He fires it up and abandons the sector. WIthout any gates or asteroids it's
useless anyway.

...Argon tactican Justin thought that he was the last survivor. But that's not true.
A Titan gets closer and closer. It fires several charged PPC banks on the oblivion, quickly lowering it's shields. Then it fires on single charged PPC shot on the oblivion.
The M6-sized bullet creates a giant crate on the hull, and the oblivion is heavily damaged, as the bullet destroyed several inner floors and the outer hull on the impact point.
A hammerhead missile find's its way through the hole and detonates deep inside the oblivion. The whole ship gets blown up, it just stopped existing. Not a single part is left, the ship is completely destroyed.

Now the Titan powers up its shields, and prepares its gun batteries to fire. Although there's no one to see, they WILL come...

The Oblivion just survived getting sucked into a BLACK HOLE that disentigrated immediately afterwards and wiped out all life in an entire SYSTEM when it escaped! Do you really think a single hammerhead will destroy it?!?

Bruce's Pirate Kestrel avoids falling into the black hole, but only just.

The gravitational forces are huge. His only option is to attempt a slingshot
manouevre around it.

Hull stresses are dangerously high he piles on the juice. As his speed
rises he starts to observe strange effects around him.

In order to increase speed he disables the limiters on the ships engines
and continues to pile it on and the engines almost scream in pain
but still he accelerates.

He warns a nearby Titan to get out of the way to avoid a collision and
it does so, but unfortunately that brings it closer to the event horizon
in the process.

Caught in the terrible grip of the black hole the Titan appears to be
slowing down. Now it appears to have stopped. Stopped completely,
Dead in Space. Nothing about it moving at all. Even the running
slights appear to have been caught mid-flash. It is almost as if time
itself had stopped.

Things are getting decidedly strange. Recent events are playing out
backwards. Bruce observes another Titan flying away having collected
some missiles and PSP shots. Then he observes the Oblivion flying
into the black hole and the rift disapearing as if it had never been.

Free of the hole, but still travelling at unfathomable speed, he can
only assume he is flying into the past.

The moment the black hole vanished and the time-space reverted itself back to normal, the kestrel is abruptly trown back into normal space with a flash of light, even brighter than the local sun.
And just before it's pilot was able to realize his luck, the small ship crashed into the shields of a mobile mining base ship on duty in the outskirts of commonwealth space.

The mobile mining base ship was then mined by a passing asteroid (silicon-rich).

Do you really think a single hammerhead will destroy it?!?

Of course. The hammerhead missile exploded inside the ship, next to the main reactor... And it's not the sense of this game to have an invinvible ship btw.
Otherwise I came up with my new discoverer: 1200 PPCs, 50.000.000.000.000 GJ shields, and about 10 billions of cargo space and able to fire 50.000.000 Shadow missiles per second. It's about 10.000 m/s fast and able to evade every missile and laser... Oh, I forgot that it has got 10 billions of hull and the complete hull regenerates within one second...
So that shall be the sense of this game? Maybe it's only me, but I don't really think so...

@topic:
I buid an Ore mine on the asteroid, and then activate the mine's self destruction. Sitting in a Mammoth, I watch the giant explosion.

Flying a Goner Ranger this time, because I can't afford to keep losing
larger ships at this rate, I return from teladi space with a cargo
of teladianium.

While the Mamoth pilot is enjoying the show, I surreptiously fly over in
my spacesuit and smother all the exhaust ports and engine outlets with
the mud and wait for it to harden, where necesary using the repair laser
to help the process before returning to my ship.

I then challenge the mamoth to short race across the sector.

The scene that unfolds next is indescribeable, but quite a lot of fun

Sadly, Goner Rangers are unarmed, and what with all these priates in the sector... well even my crappy Pirate Buster is capable of obliterating it without trouble.

Bruce has got confused as to who is flying what.

Never mind. He brings in a Gladiator and just saturates the whole
sector with tomahawk missiles.

That should sort it out.

Unfortunately a swarm of spaceflies is passing by, one getting caught in the Gladiators missle tubes, just as the last Tomahawk is armed and fired.

There is balance in the force again, a new hope arises.

The equivalent of Luke Skywalker in the X-Universe flying the Humble ranger convinces all these testosterone fueled ego monsters to commit suicide by repeating

again and again. Using the force, he communicates this message to even those across the galaxy, and makes them push the self destruct button.

Then goes to a rave with boron wookies to some drum and bass.

Sadly the Kha'ak, while they can hear his messages, have no idea what he is saying. So this rapidly becomes very, very annoying to the Hivemind, and an M0 planet killer controlled by the reliable drone Im'per'um spoils the party somewhat by blowing up the planet it's on...

Bruce approaches the humungous Xenon terraformer ship in his Griffin
and using his mighty Mastermind and Sudoku skills, hacks into the
onboard mainframe to disable it.
