Thanks for that quick fix.

This morning when i saw it come up on moddb i grabed it before it was posted here. The problems i had was that i couldnt buy flight mk 2, trade mk2, bioscanner, and 1 other one that i cant recall.

It seemed like i tracked it down to doing that when i had any script by lucike installed, so i didnt report it (still going with lack of sleep so i thought it could be a error on my part).

I had that problem in docks with my continued save game and a fresh install.

Im crashing into a coma like sleep here soon tho, so it will be awhile before ill be able to figure out what all is going on. Got the video card for my tripple screen today so i was a bit buzy ;)

Thanks for the tip but .. how? I edited the xml in notepad so it looks like the line 46 there for example. But no help. Any advice appreciated =)

just comment out this line :)
To all that needs to comment out this line, you can do it from the script editor in-game.

Find line 40 in plugin.XTC.Lib.CloneShip using the in game editor, and press period (.) and it'll comment out the line.

Forget about it :D

If you don't know the inGame-Editor, it's too complicated to explain here - use the salvage claim software instead (you will need it for bigger ships anyway later).

btw. @Tharaphita you did probably right, but this fix applies only for newly bailed ships, for the old ones not ;)

I don't have any such issues- all are filled with some pretty amazing soundtracks- I'd uninstall reinstall if I were you.

was it you listening to the sound files out of game?

if it was check your media player didnt move them to its library. just a thought otherwise yes reinstall. or if you have been turning music on / off ingame it wont start again till you jump to a new sector or change ship.

just seen next post what version are you using?

im getting real board of a dule between 1km long frigates lasting under 30 seconds, i will just have to give rebalancing the weapons to CMOD levels a go.

dougeye, it's the current version that was released

I can open up music files outside of the game but I've only heard a few music tracks in game in certain sectors... most sectors are blank for music

makes the game quite bleak not having any music playing... :(

Aldrin sectors are also quite bleak having no stations at all... can't gain rep with them since there are no stations to take missions from.

Also... shouldn't Argon and Yaki be nuking each other in Aldrin sector? I mean they have negative rep towards each other, all there doing is flying around one another :?

the new bits of lore in the manual say something about yaki having under the table deals with the aldrins i think? and the argon ships are argon design but aldrin self defence forces so if point one is true point 2 is self explanitory.

also im not sure you can gain rep with aldrin at this time. i took out several yaki akuma's nd there support with my osaka in the aldrin scetro east of aldrin and i got no gain or loss of reputation. my rep with them is static all the time.

back to music files... i dont know then! lol what volme do you have music at i know when i had mine at 60 i could hear some but others i couldnt hear over the engines lol

p.s good timing on the fix guys it got released 5 mins b4 i bought my first xtc m2 which was a good thing cuz otherwise i would have spent 5x 149 million on 2gj military sheilds lol

terran capitals are still over power compared to most. i took an osaka for a test drive with psp's in front / left / right set to capital kill and ssc's in the others for fighters. i headed for a sector with a khaak invasion going on an flew straight into a dreadnaught with the main guns at the same time as left was attacking a carrier and right a destroyer and came out with 80% sheilds left. im not complaining :D but it still felt easy in terms of balance. this was on normal settings.

yeah... I don't know what's going on with the music files... I guess I could play music outside the game client.

Also I am not used to paper thin hulls anymore... not enough meat there... I miss my SRM high hull factor lol think it was like 7 to 10 times the normal amount :lol:

Hmm, non-playing music files in some sectors means (most likely) that either the soundtrack folder did not install (which is not the case, since you state that you can play them in your media player), or that your map file is somehow messed up..

Just to verify, in your soundtrack folder ,the 04500.mp3 - 04603.mp3 all have MMk as author and XTC OST as album, right?

And in your galaxy map, all sectors have appropriate names and full descriptions? (Aldrin sectors without stations is normal, by the way)
