So it was a keeper this time was it? I don't mind if there is a little damage in transit, such as corners being buckled as this is usually the norm.
Mine was received yesterday in their returns office so hopefully not long now.

Steam updated bonus superbox.
Update uploading 3 files:
- Deutch pedia;
- English pedia;
- autorun.exe
Here is the funny thing. Autorun updated, inside we have the new "button" Xpedia, which is not working, because noone had time to think howto and to add something like "openXpedia.bat" to start folder. D'oh!
Now need to surf deep in steam's folder to pick the manual...or to click on anything else in menu and surf to Enci folder.
Nothing is perfect.

Got my Superbox here in the US! Probably helped that I live near a major hub of international air traffic!
Problem is, I got the German version as well instead of the English version that I ordered, but I've already sent an e-mail to order@egosoft.com
Mighty happy to see the Egosoft stamp on my package hailing all the way from Germany! It arrived from across the Atlantic perfectly without any damage! Thanks Egosoft!

It was updated again, it's downloaded the file about which i've said about.
Nice work

Hey guys, I dont see any XBTF or X-tension section in the forum, where can we ask questions and check some tutorials or guides and so?
In the argonopedia all talks is about X2, very little of the previous ones.
By the way i have a question, Does X-tension have any plot? or is just pure sandbox? which improvements has over XBTF besides the fact of changing ships?

There is no separate section for discussing general gameplay for any of the games. The main forum is for all games, and the older games are too well-known by many to need spoiler forums of their own. Tech Support questions about the older games can be asked here too, though this may be a good time to make the X2 Tech Support forum a place for all the older games.
Argonopedia has plenty of data about X-BTF and X-T. You just need to select the right game at the top of the main page to ensure you see the right data set. The forums there are pretty quiet nowadays, but again, they are not game-specific and you can ask about any game there.
Finally, X-T doesn't have a plot as such. There is an extended mission sequence but that is only available once you've been playing for quite a while. It's primarily a sandbox game, though, and yes, the main gameplay improvement over X-BTF is the ability to fly many different ships.

My SuperBox appears to be in the custody of the Royal Mail, out for delivery in Penzance. It went out for delivery yesterday (20th), and the Amazon UK info has not updated since then....
I am hoping that it has been delivered and will take the second leg of the trip with Men-In-Brown over the weekend....
I will certainly pre-order the TNBT as soon as it is possible.
This seems to be the most trouble-free way of getting a copy in America without waiting a long time.
My only concern with initial releases is the DRM having trouble with x64 (as with Tages and TC).
Oh well, whatever it takes we will all do, to get our EgoSoft Jollies...
Anxiously Awaiting,
GF

It seems I can't get it to work unless I'm signed in either now. The cookie method worked before, I'm pretty sure. The reason you can't register is explained on the front page of the site. Sadly the site's owner isn't really around any more and I don't see the situation changing in the foreseeable future. It's a pity as the data is there and accessible to those who registered while the site was accepting new registrations, but there's not a lot anyone can do about it.vbruzual wrote:I don't want to turn this thread in an Argonopedia tech support, but the site does not allow new registrations, it keeps responding Sorry, but this username has already been taken. even before entering any username. The first post in this thread wrote:All games are compatible with Windows XP (SP2+), Windows Vista (SP1+) and Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit) and feature no DRM.
