Two things I'd really like in the new patch- to be able to buy Ghoul missile fabs and antimatter warhead fabs :D

I agree with Sovereign01, being able to purchase ALL the terran and aldran fabs would be nice....and whilst we are wishing, how about a way to obtain ATF fighters 8)

And while you are waiting for Egosoft there is always Cadius's Ship/Station mod :P.

I am a member of the customer base who contributes some of his time to testing... if you call that a tester then yes, but bear in mind that it is better for alot of people to contribute a little time each rather than a handful of people to dedicate alot of time each... The former often results in more complete testing than the latter.

Every L3+ user is a potential "tester".

But have you noticed how Devs, like Cycrow and SymTec, still do write "third-party" scripts too. Knowing a bit or two about vanilla does not force you to limit yourself (or others) to vanilla. In practice the knowledge tends to lead to more S&M.

Beware of the modding side of the X-Universe for once you start down that path forever will it dominate your game. ;)

That's the beauty of the X-Universe. It's so open & offers so many different playstyles that it would be a shame to cull it by ingame designs. Intead they let us, the players choose how we want our game & enhance it by getting certain scripts or mods.

Can somebody make those STEAM things clear?

DO I will have to install Steam to patch XTC to 2.6?
DO I will have to download (whole) XTC from steam to patch 2.6?
DO I will have to run Steam to run XTC 2.6?

I'm not some 5 years old X-Box boy so I don't really care about that whole achivements system.

I care if there are any real game changes like interface improovement, new plot, new features (NO achievents are not feature to me)? AI fix? Wing commands fix?

Bonuspack IS a good feature.

There is no age parameter associated with achievements. I would suggest to all that don't like it to respect those who do, there is no need to offend anyone, even when done subtle.

As stated before.

How about giving the ATF an HQ so that there are missions available (or include the Valhalla acting as the Goner Ozias does), with ATF fighters being awarded like other corps do with race ships?
