Not sure if it is related to that script but I have a funny bug which I don't know how to solve. A teladi's Condor crew bailed out and I rushed to claim the ship. The problem is that it is loaded with 22 teladi ships. Should I jump to a Xenon sector?

i don't know if anyone else is having this problem but the download link seems to be broken, and even with my extremely basic knowledge of the internet, I'm fairly sure the upload site is dead, or just denying me access.

i had this mod before but had to do a lengthy fresh install and find all my mods, and every mod done by you is not downloading, i really loved a lot of your work and i don't think i can play X3 without it.

Please fix this issue.

just tried downloading the spk file on this post. (first post) That worked fine for me.

What country are you in? Perhaps there's an issue with server communication between you and where that server is located.

The .man file problem seems to be a common issue with that server as well. Weird :o

I seem to have some sort fo trouble with this script. I have installed everything this script required and activated it in proper in-game menu with bail rates as well. So here I have set small ship bail rate at 40 to see if this script works. So far one day (in game) passed and I haven't seen any bails or increasment of ships to salvage. Scopr map still shows freebie ships left by Ego and 2-3 random TS in pirate sectors. Is that all for 1 day ?
I've been doing some pirating on slow TS ships. My ships is armed in PBE's and I'm trying to cap my victims ship. None of 20 of them bailed out, which sucks pretty much. I was hoping for increased bail rate and I cant cap any ship :/
Take a xenon invasion for example. Lots of small ships mostly M4, at least 30. Only one cap, what the heck?

Sorry bout the noob question but when you people say rename it to spk do you mean add ".spk" to the ending of the file name or something along the lines of that? I have tried adding .spk to the end of the file name and nothing happens.

If you get a file with the wrong extention, script_name.xml, for example, it means change the .xml to .spk so you end up with script_name.spk

you can end up with the wrong ext to files sometimes due to the download site or browser you use to download it.

Hello all.

You probably need to set your explorer settings to 'show extensions for known file types', then you'll be able to see the file name with the '.' at the end and can change it. You could also try redownloading, or downloading with a different browser.

The .MAN extension problem I've never experienced myself in Vista or 7, using Firefox in both instances. It's one of those wierd intermittent problems that's a b*tch to reproduce.

If you're really stuck I'll upload it elsewhere temporarily for you.

I didn't get any reply from my host provider (maeyanie) about fixing this issue, and it looks like it still persists, so I'll look for an alternative asap.

In your My Computer window, under something like Tools->Folder Options->Advanced. Not sure if that's right exactly, since I don't have XP handy right now, but its something along those lines.
