Well, there is only one manly way of resolving this dispute - foam wrestling, or better still, drunk foam wrestling.

I'll grab my ref's whistle, all decisions are final. But someone else can bring the towels this time.

Relax, people. It's N-S's story, he'll do what he wants with his ships. There's no use getting worked up over it here.

Besides, I'll let you in on a secret: You want to be a fighter pilot. You want to log in to see your ship mentioned in the post and see the cool stuff you're doing and if you survived this next fight. Being a cap-ship pilot is cool and all, but it's not terribly exciting.

Unless you're piloting the premiere destroyer of the fleet and used as the vanguard in all the big ops. Which is what I'm angling for.

plus cap ships seem to die quicker when AI flown

and in battle. You'll survive longer amongst a wing of fighters than as a capship in a Xenon sector battle

I'll fly a used trashcan with wings and pop guns into a sector full of red and take them out all by myself if it gets me in the story.

Am I imagining things or has NS been AFK for 5 days now. Should I be worried, can anyone remember when he's been away for this long (apart from the boss dropping paperwork all over his desk a couple o weeks ago).

You don't think he's..... you know..... got a life outside the X universe do you???

IIRC, NS is involved in the retail sector in RL. What time of year is it

I hear hes a full time pirate.

Things usually get busy for the holidays. Even for pirates. That, and towards the end of DiD games the scale increases. That blurb of jumping the fleet into Ianumus Zero? Takes five real time minutes, even on SETA. When you only have two real time hours to play a day ... well ...

oh well I don't have one of those "girlfriends" to distract me right now despite some "friends" best efforts to "take things to the next level" I prefer to play X-3 than deal with having to get her a gift. Perhaps after the holidays. And no I don't think there is a life outside of
X-3 unless it is taking the time to play another game before being sucked back in by the void.

The only thing I do besides x-3 is I have a few friends, exercise 6 days a week, and sell useless crap to people who will buy it.

Life outside of X3, now theres a thought.... alas i do have one, what with a wife, 2 dogs and 2 kids, other than that i play X3 TC & X3 Reunion and when im not catering for the family i can sometimes be found in Freelancer and Sacred 2 : Fallen Angel.

Ahhh.... see N-S, your time away from the boards is making people go stir crazy
