Aww, this is rough. Now I may have to find something else to complain about. =/Toastie wrote:The OTAS Boreas has undergone some much-needed balancing.
My complete script download page. . . . . . I AM THE LAW!

I aint an egosoft rep or anything but....mad_axeman wrote:So... no one at egosoft has actually answered this... What's in this package for those people who:
a) Don't follow the plot.
b) Like to play peacefully.
Or have you forgotten about us????
There are the UT fixes and general performance/stability improvements (still WiP though) for starters.

Building a complex is hard enough with the nodes pointing in the right direction.
Factory nodes and docking clamps still awry.

It isn't an RC, it's the release version.amtct wrote:1)What RC is this(just curious)?
Try hovering your mouse over them or reading the thread in the off-topic forum.amtct wrote:2)What is with the medals from the user account(its new because this morning was nothing there)?

There is a summary in the patch readme file.palm911 wrote:is there a list of fixes?
It isn't Steam's fault either. If you want to blame anyone then blame the US retailers for releasing the boxed copies early. The Steam version should still be ready for download before the originally-planned date.palm911 wrote:(Steam as usual is late.) we second grade customers are totally screwed up. but good job Ego on getting the patch out for DVD usersi know steam is not your fault.

I am so pleased Egosoft have taken this much needed step, I hope it was a worthwhile and positive experience that you will repeat.Toastie wrote:This update, which has undergone more widespread testing than is normally the case...

Well, if it makes you feel better, when I saw it on store shelves on April 1st, I bought a copy, even though I already had a Steam copy ;]CBJ wrote:It isn't Steam's fault either. Edit:
I've also noticed a performace increase, previously HQ's (like Terracorp HQ) killed my otherwise flawless framerate maxed out. It literally became a slideshow even with a duel-core 3.6GHz processor and an ATI 4870 videocard with 4 GB of ram. Now it stays stable.
