This makes for no special cases in the stats-export code, and easy future-proofing. It appears that this is the case - the TOTAL value of a deployed pseudo-ship is equal to the value of the ware.
I thought that initially (I found it while I was trying to debug a stats script), but it doesn't seem to be the case.
The prices listed in the stats for StationaryShip objects appear to always be the 'dock' prices - a Lasertower does buy/sell at 151608 average. The stats would give you 155K on top of that.
EDIT: Scripting note: An Orbitallaser has an average price of 129,848 so that might have added up before the LTs got upgraded, but a deployed squash mine appears to be 32,460 (as opposed to 10,108 on the dock).
Now it's 118% for bugatti and 117% for me. Apparently something went wrong with the autoscaling. Stay tuned; the competition is sharp and we are heading to the land of 4-digit percents

Was never my intention to post my stats, did it just for the purposes of comparison whilst error logging. Feel free to delete once they're up- no exploits used but have no intention of disrupting the good natured competition going on.
It looks like the X3 headings right now, but I was hoping for the hidden crates data to show up too, as that's probably the only section I'd have a real chance of getting into the top page.
Go to the Egosoft home page, then click on to Games -> X3 Reunion in the left hand navigation bar and you will see two entries "Player Rankings" where stats are displayed, and "UPLINK" where you upload them.
This info isn't, at present, included in the initial FAQ post in this thread!
I think this has to do with this topic, if not ignore me.
I see a lot of people having stats similar to the ones we upload in their signature. They all have the same format, and I was wondering how do they get them and put them in their sig?
Thats got nothing to do with X3 game stats,
it SetiBoinc stats - distributed computer processing 'points' for
a research project you can donate some of you CPU time to.
Just like the 'Protein Folding' computing projects et al.
'X-Beyond The Frontier' is just the team name that C-the-C belongs to.
Technically it is possible for one of them to create a sig generator... but methinks they are working on TC.
Until a way to search via username/playername/uploadername/some way to get our specific file (did a quick looksy, seems like there isn't), a third-party generator is not possible. Well, aside from uploading it to the third party site. But that could cause data seperation. May be possible to upload to third party and that third party uploads to egosoft servers as well, though that would open security holes.
I've done something like this for the evil game known as runescape. It's actually the base of what I'm working on now - hopefully done when TC comes out... keep getting nifty ideas for the data. Mmm data.
OK now I don't see any updates at all [from my uplink anyway] -- although the uplink itself works fine [no errors,no "modified tag"].
What's going on ?
There has always been a delay between successful upload of data and update of the PlayerRankings pages. So that is "normal", and implies a separate background update procedure (which may naturally have bugs of its own).
As you might have noticed, the forums have been slightly less responsive lately. It is quite possible that the backend of forum and the backend of PlayerRankings have to compete for some physical resources.
