installato, patchato alla 1.2 e pronto a partire e ti vedi il messaggio che devi inserire il dvd originale ---- poi 45min di giri sul forum provando tutte le cose .... driver non driver ..... non si può, non si può ......

si si lo so ..... scrivere a tages - non dipende da noi -,

ma francamente ....... mi girano molto

non ti serve nulla con il dvd (e in effetti a me non ha mai chiesto nulla ) ho letto anche il sito tages e dicono che non è una buona idea disinstallare e reinstallare frequentemente (non so se è il tuo caso) .

Se hai 2 lettori DVD magari provali tutti e 2 e se hai degli emulatori di dischi prova a disinstallari , magari il sistema si confonde e cerca dove non dovrebbe, io ho demon tools che uso con i vecchi giochi con cui gioco ogni tanto che copio e incollo su disco, altrimenti dovrei sempre stare li a cercarli in mezzo al casino , ma non ho nessun problema ...

In estremo fai uno screenshot dell'errore aggiungici un DXtest e mandagli una email descrivendo il problema .

In poche parole il dvd deve stare dalla lettera D in poi (cosa normale di solito , ma non si sa mai)

dunque ....

grazie per i consigli, ma nulla da fare. su 15 - 20 tentativi sono entrato nel gioco solo un paio di volte.
Ho provato a reinstallare il tutto e a fare tutto quanto trovato nei forum ma niente.... ogni tanto, in maniera totalmente casuale mi fa apparire la schermata di ingresso, altrimenti mi chiede sempre di inserire il dvd originale !!!!!!

il bello è che quando riesco ad entrare tutto funziona molto bene .... (cio significa che i requisiti sono soddisfatti - aspire 5920g t7500 gefo8600 256 hd-dvd - 4gbram)

ho scritto a tages ed adesso scriverò ancora, ma se non mi danno un fix non so cosa possano dirmi di fare .....

potrei aspettare che esca l'ultima patch che di solito rimuove la protezione, però non mi sembra giusto perchè a quel punto avrei potuto probabilmente prendere il gioco a metà prezzo e non a prezzo pieno come appena uscito.

In fondo io ho badato ai requisiti minimi fra cui non è contemplato che il sistema di protezione potrebbe impedirti di giocare !!!! oppure tra le specifiche potrebbero mettere le caratteristiche del pc che soddisfano la protezione !!!

io non ho molto tempo per giocare, e stare lì ogni volta a vedere se è la volta buona lo trovo frustrante ed irritante !!!!!

mi piacerebbe che qualcuno dei mod di questo forum faccia presente questo mio caso a qualche mod inglese e che mi dicessero cosa fare (via mail, via pm), non sono molto bravo a scrivere in inglese
.. che non sia sempre quella di scrivere a tages ... perchè comunque il prodotto è UNO (x3tc+tages) ed io non ho la possibilità di scinderli e di scegliere di non installare tages, quindi dovrebbero rispondermi perlomeno entrambi

scusate lo sfogo e la lunghezza.... proverò in caso a tradurre e postarlo nel forum inglese

il gioco mi sembra molto bello, se me lo facessero giocare .... torno a reunion + xtm

Ma è davvero strano che ti faccia così.. sembra che sei l'unico.. ti fa lo stesso anche con la patch 1.2.1? hai provato a installare anche i video?

Io l'ho disintallato quindi non posso provare ma agli altri funziona anche senza dvd all'interno? perchè se è no allora devi avere qualche problema nel computer..

mi puoi fare un dxdiag e postarlo ? per farlo vai su start/esegui/scrivi DXDiag e premi invio e aspetti un po' , clikka su "salva tutte le informazioni " salva il rapporto da qualche parte dove lo trovi con facilita e fai un copia incolla (tutto) su un post , cosi vedo di capirci qualcosa. (puo' essere anche un incompatibilita CD/DVD reader),magari ne veniamo a capo .
Per la patch no cd non credo uscira prima di un anno o giu' di li .

molte grazie per l'interessamento .... le prove le ho fatte sia con patch che senza patch e i video sono regolarmente installati - infatti funziona tutto bene quando entro nel gioco.

posto il dxdiag .... avevo dietro il file per scrivere atages nuovamente. .. interessante l'incompatibilità cd-dvd reader, ci avevo pensato anche io .... però è un dvd-hd

Domanda scema , ma non si sa mai

il dvd funziona anche con altri dischi ?
Per curiosita hai provato a guardare se ti esce il dvd anche in risorse del computer ?

Ho trovato diversi casi con vista al sp1 che non riconosce il tipo di masterizzatore che usi ci sono anche diverse soluzioni al problema

questo sopra e per rendere chiaro l'idea e sistemare la cosa manualmente, sono stato anche sul sito toshiba (il produttore del tuo dvd reader)e ho trovato questo tool di riparazione che dovrebbe andare in automatico.

è un zip eseguibile (l'ho aperto e fatto uno scanner e quello ceh ho scaricato io è pulito , in ogni caso controlla sempre prima per virus vari)
nel readme dice questo:

and now your CD/DVD drive (CD-ROM) has disappeared from "My Computer".

You still see the CD-ROM drive in Windows Device Manager, but it displays

The most likely cause of this issue is the software uninstaller left some 
keys in the registry.

This tool will update your Windows XP, or Windows Vista registry to remove
these left-over keys.

Windows Vista users will need to right-click the "RmvFltrs.exe" file, choose 
"Run as Administrator", and click "Allow" if the User Account Control
diaglog box is displayed alerting "An unidentified program wants access

quindi dovrebbe sistemare la cosa in automatico senza tanti mal di testa(spero).
il tool se non ti va normalmente allora va installato in modalita provvisoria (all'avvio premi F8 ) e passa come amministratore .

A volte Nero cambia le cose secondo i suoi gusti , pero' nel tuo caso non dovrebbero esserci conflitti del genere.
Pero' dovrebbe esserci un opzione simile sui setting di nero , il problema e che il mio l'ho tirato via una vita fa perchè preferisco usare linux per masterizzare le mie robe (e non rompe come i programmi in windows)e non ricordo con precisione come settarlo, mi sembra che ti dava la descrizione del tipo di driver e il firmware su opzioni /tipo di driver e se c'erano problemi , ma è passata una vita dall'ultima volta che l'ho usato.

L'estrema e ultima risorsa è come ho detto scrivere ai tizi di tages e descrivere il problema a loro se hai problemi con l'inglese te ne faccio una io di e-mail da mandargli .

Fammi sapere se i link sopra sono serviti a qualcosa.....

Grazie Hugoz, intanto per l'interessamento .....

- avrà la predisposizione al telecomando... sarebbe utile averlo ?!?

..mha...

- il dvd funziona, altrimenti non avrei installato TC: funziona anche con altri dischi
- in risorse del computer c'è e quando il dvd è inserito lo vedo con la sua bella icona X3tc blu
- problemi di dirver non ne ho "su tutta la linea" e quando cambio i driver video utilizzo regolarmente driver sweeper in modalità sicura F8 ....

Ho scritto a tages e mi hanno risposto ..... dandomi 7 cose da fare in ordine di priorità - ma mi sa che non hanno guardato bene il mio dxdiag .... ora gli risponderò nuovamente: le cose sono

1- far partire da autorun program o explorer dopo averlo espulso e inserito nuovamente per vedere se viene visto ..... (lo avrò fatto 1000 volte)
2- testare il game su un altro pc per verificare che non sia il drivedvd
3- installare gli ultimi driver per la mia mainboard (son quasi tutti driver del 2007 . ...)
4- essere sicuri che la lettera del drive sia fra DeZ (se guardavano la mia dxdiag vedevano che è F con anche il nome del lettore\mast)
5- ridurre la velocità del drive ....... questo potrebbe essere il consiglio piu giusto, se non fosse che non è velocissimo (essendo un hddvd).... ma lo proverò
6- controllare la corretta install. dei vari demon etc .... che ho rimosso e che darebbero in caso problemi di non riconoscimento del drive da parte di win
7- disinstallare se lo ho nero incd (che è vecchio come il cucco) ...... se guardavano la dxdiag vedevano che il nero è l'8.x .......

va bhè proverò il punto 5 e poi gli manderò indietro la lista dei risultati .....

- la riduzione della velocità la voglio verificare perchè, questo era il mio sospetto in precedenza, le vibrazioni prodotte dal drive (forti in un portatile), non tanto la velocità, magari non permettono la corretta visualizzazione dei riferimenti di tages sul dvd ..... bhò questa è una mia idea, ma non sapendo come funziona tages potrebbe essere una castroneria ....

quello che ti chiederei per favore, se non funzionasse questa cosa della velocità, sarebbe di portare a conoscenza un mod inglese (tipo CBJ) e chiedere cosa si potrebbe fare se anche da tages non arrivassero piu informazioni utili ...... riferendo le cose che ho scritto nel post precedente a quello con il dxdiag per intenderci quelle del prodotto inseparabile da tages ed il fatto che la patch di rimozione magari esce fra un anno (a prodotto dimezzato di valore) ....

la questione velocità era una castroneria, ho ridotto la velocità a 2x e a 4x e solito messaggio .... peccato.

Poi è partito dopo 3 tentativi (con vel. di default) ... come sempre il gioco mi va fluido, ma sono uscito quasi subito per provare a rientrare e niente (altri 5 o 6 tentativi) - inserisci il dvd originale !!!-

poi mestamente sono andato a cancellare le segnalazioni di errore in vista che si accumulavano da giorni .....

ho riscritto a Tages, rsipondendo ai loro 7 punti. vediamo -
sta diventando sempre piu necessario far presente la cosa a CBJ ...

Ciao , stavo per postare qui' una richiesta (sono casi identici al tuo , ma se noti CBJ risponde puntualmente che il problema non è del gioco ma di TAGES , sic ) , ma poi rileggendo meglio il tuo post sopra mi è venuto un dubbio , hai avuto , come chiesto sul pnto 2 , possibilita di testarlo anche su un altro pc per vedere se funzia o se effettivamente è un problema del firmware o del dvd reader ?

stavo rileggendo un dxdiag di un altro utente con il tuo stesso problema e sai cosa ? avete lo stesso lettore dvd , non ci metterei la mano sul fuoco (dovrei vederne almeno altri due differenti di dxdiag) ma son quasi sicuro che il problema sta nel firmware toshiba(che ne aveva gia' diversi , basta usare google e ne trovi in giro) e la protezione tages , se gli scrivi , faglielo presente , magari si velocizzano e trovano un fix.

ieri ho fatto un'installazione sul mio pc desktop muletto e tutto funzionava correttamente (peccato abbia specifiche troppo basse) ....... credo tu abbia ragione

ho visto che hai già postato sul forum inglese GRANDE !!!!!

Non sei il solo. Nel Forum tedesco, io vivo in quella zona linguistica, sono una diecina a lamentarsi dello stesso problema. Anche nel mio caso la prima volta il DVD è stato riconosciuto e ho potuto installare il programma. Dopo il DVD non viene più riconosciuto. Il mio È un Samsung. Ma ho anche un Lite-On e nmmeno quello riconosce più il DCD X3TC.
Qui sono tutti dell'avviso che il problema è TAGES

Io comunque mi sono sdato e per adesso il DVD l'ho archiviato.

OK, we have a workaround for people with this problem. It involves switching your TAGES copy protection to the version with online activation, and it means that I will need to issue activation keys individually to those who need them. Please contact me by PM if you are having this problem.

For obvious reasons I will only issue activation keys and instructions to people who have registered their copy of X3TC. I also don't have time, or available activation keys, to deal with more cases than absolutely necessary, so please don't bother to contact me by PM unless you are having genuine problems with the disk not being recognised by your DVD drive.

In poche parole dice che puo' aiutare chi ha veramente dei problemi (dimostabili) con il dvd di gioco ,dando all'interessato un codice di attivazione. Non contattatelo per richieste non inerenti al caso , tipo il dvd rigato , non mi va a genio tages ,ecc.. ecc.., per quello potete usare il forum (se per lamentarvi e basta fate un OT e non fate bumping)
