Im VERY new to the editor, literally minutes have passed since i activated it.
I have tried my hardest to add money to my account, but it always stays at 5000.
Can anybody help me fix this?

Well I'm terrible with scripting actually but there is a money fixer script going around for years now but the site it was usually at has gone down. If you search around here a bit you will probably find a link to it. Once you have the script you can see how it was made and make it yourself to learn something from it.
I still can't script lol I've been trying to learn scripting for over a year off and on but the location of script commands annoys me to death and there is no script editor outside of the game.

its for X3, but the money cheat guide is the same for X2 as well.
the first one, for enabling the script editor you can skip as you already have done that, and its different in X2.
but the next 2, creating first script, and adding a command (money) cheat is the same in X2
