Did you get my save file?
I sent you my save file few days ago. Just wondering if you got it? If you did get it then all is well,
convert it when you can, school is bogging me down
so I'm in no rush.
Once more thanx

No I'm at 7 % of 125 MB at my e-mail sight. Hmmm
I just turned off my spam filter and also deleted my block list. Is the file bigger then 10 MB? I just read the fine print I can't receive more then that in one email.
I am also sending you an e-mail with an alternate e-mail address you can send to if that doesn’t work.
Many more thanx, sorry this turned out to be so complicated.

SymTec ltd. walks in, mentions the Forum Rules in the aspects "advertising" and "spam", and notes that the issue has been resolved anyway.Lancefighter wrote: Lancefighter walks in, casually mentions free 3 gig email at gmail.com, and casually walks back out.

Your script worked great for me thanks! However I have a problem in trying to find Gamma patrol since I went from non-plot to plot.
I entered HoL and it auto-targeted, was some distance off, one of the values -60km. But I had to do something, lost their target and now can't find 'em.
Any ideas to how I could find em? Special way or anything?

/me walks back in, after noticing there was a reply, and casually mentions that he merely meant the point of gmail's email as a way around such 'small' email as Chessmon had, thinking his post perfectly relevant, and was simply trying to aid in Chessmon's use of such a wonderful script. He also mentions that having no notice of such an issue being resolved, he thought he was actually helping , but to his own dismay, unbeknownst to him, he was not helping. He also apologizes for what was referred to as spam, and he makes a note to try and contain himself in the future from trying to aid in people's affairs online.

No problem, I am using gmail myself. The only point I wanted to make is that discussion of Email-providers really does not fit the S&M-topic, and as I was able to resolve the issue with chessmon earlier (of which you of course could not know), this post did not bring discussion on this script-topic further.Lancefighter wrote: Lancefighter walks back in, after noticing there was a reply, and casually mentions that he merely meant the point of gmail's email as a way around such 'small' email as Chessmon had, thinking his post perfectly relevant, and was simply trying to aid in Chessmon's use of such a wonderful script. If I had know this would become such an issue with the file, I'd just have uploaded it to one of my ftp's and be done with it.

I got the file, many thanx
I followed the steps to try to import load the file. I put what you sent me in the T folder of x3. Started x3, loaded my game, then flew to a safe spot, changed my name to Thereshallbewings. Yes, the script editor did activate. But there is no "X2-X3-Converter - Decompress" command in my ships special menu.
I must be doing something simple wrong, because I'm sure I got the hard stuff right. Is there more than one special menu?
Sorry, to trouble you again, I tried for over an hour deleting and reloading the converter files, and experimenting in x3 I just a can't seem to find what I'm supposed to be finding. Any suggestions?

Do you have a "Pirate"-Menu where you can find the command in?
Otherwise, open the scripteditor, look for the script "plugin.stl.x3.globalmain", press "r" when having selected it, then press enter twice, scroll one down and press enter ("number"), enter "1" and press enter again. This is the manual start, which is the second way to start a script.

I hesitiate to take more of your time, please know I am greatful.
I was able find the Piracy menu. I Went to an empty sector. I started the program. I got these messages
What does following this mean?
"Personal Log
2- There was a problem in Line: ReadText 8758-2 string Null could not be read started with next line"
"Personal log Entry
Null Header could not be read correctly string: ReadText 8758-1"
I got these messages almost instantly as I started the converter. I let the game sit for about thirty minutes; I could see no evidence that it was adding anything during that time. I have double checked everything, and I have combed the readme for insight into the matter. I afraid I must ask for you help once more. Help
As always much thanks, answer when you can.

Success at last.
It worked Yepee!
Thank for everything.
One final question:
How do you get the imported stations to start producing again? They have resources but just sit there. ALL imported stations are like they are frozen. Their shields don’t even recharge. I know this because two of my ore mines Materialized over-lapping the Presidents Ends “north” and “south” Jump gates. Ships keep coming through the gates and blowing up by running into one of my ore mine. The Stations shield didn’t recharge after getting hit. I have about 40 stations in PE, and don't what to blow them all up an start all over. Not to mention my other stations scattered throughout the galaxy.
Overall I am happy with the import and your program you wrote. I got my Squadron of 15 fully fuctional Khaak fighters
back and all my money even if end up I having to self-destruct and rebuild my frozen imported stations. I just hope I don’t have to do that.
Thanks again for all your help.
