nope, it shouldn't be any different if you bought them urself, in your status it should have an [L] next to each race showing you have the licence

how many stations have you tryed, it isn't very common, so you do have to keep looking, oncve u've joined them issions should be fairly common

Query: I have had two patrol missions and well pirates atatcked me. so I try and kill them only to find that the patrol just kept moving. Oncew I kill two with one more to go and I get a message saying that I have flown too far away. ???? are there set enemies that they will attack or do they just not like me??? (Teladi Missions)

First time i´ve seen this thread, looks very promising.

I´d just wish my computer hadn´t crashed and burned a few days ago. It´s gonna be about 1-3 weeks before i get it back from the service check

One idea though...

As i understand, the rewards are only in credits for doing missions, correct?

What if you would get an additional reward from being promoted?

I was thinking in the line, that you would aquire a new ship with a promotion.

Maybe only for every 2 or 3 ranks.

This would actually make sense, since then when you´re finally admiral, you would be given an M1 or M2. Besides, what admiral in his right mind would pilot a fighter instead of a destroyer or carrier?

Just a thought though

Hey Cycrow

Had this script before and it worked really well, but just started a new game with XFP V0.1 and you script pack V0.101 and reinstalled everything.

Found the BBS entry to enlist and clicked on it, it took 360000 ish out of my account and then i got a message say i didnt have enough money. Had 500000 ish to start with now only have 140000, will try it a few more times when i see the BBS for it and get some more money.

I have installed your script via sript manager, but I have been unable to find any BBS offer to join military. I have only RS Turret Defense installed. Have I done something wrong? Or do I simply keep looking?

yyou need to have a police licence for the race you want to join the miltary with, if you have one then you just have to keep looking, it is quite rare to find, but the missions shouldn't be rare

EDIT: I have just joined the Split Military. May i ask, where can I see my military ranks?

actaully i c it as police stay within thier own sector.

also the patrol missions are basically for the lower rank in the miltary, theres just not the other missions yet, but there will be

Thanks. I have just failed my first mission as I got too far from the leader. Can this be changed? In the battle, I need to follow the enemy and there is no time to check where the Flight leader is.

i had no problem with that it not sad anything when i was 20km away chasing an ship

this shoudl be improved in the next version, i've been working on a few things that should prevent failing the mission as often, unless u try to fail it

about that last time an barrier formed by shots (5 m5s 10 m4s 6 m3 and an m1 fired on it (it happened at Antigone Memorial)
