NEWS: Football invades the X-Universe

The World Cup has found its way into the X-Universe! Apparently some Terrans smuggled a couple of fan accessoires in, which are now rapidly popping up all over the known universe.

A couple of Teladi already sense big credit-making-opportunities and have ordered large quantities of replica products.
While stocks are still low the black market is booming and somehow our Miria managed to get her hands on a couple of black-red-gold striped things.
Suits her, doesn't it? :)

Miria and EGOSOFT wish all the best to the German national soccer team for their next game(s)!

Maybe this is the right place, to thank Germany for an excellent worldcup so far...they prove to be a perfect host.

I'm hoping for a Germany vs. France final...haven't decided yet, whom I'm going to support.
But I have to say, that sentiments from the past will play no role in my decision. :)

I'm sorry, what is this "soccer" you speak of? There is only Football.

Easter egg for X4? Put various countries' little flags on the spaceships during the predicted world cup event follow it's release? :D

I tried ejecting the goods received in some weird BBS mission that indicated as clothing, flags and indescribable junk bearing a red cross on a white background, and it resulted in full system crash along with videocard and CPU malfunction.. Also my monitor blew up.. What drivers do I need then? :?
