X2 BPH - Prohibited from home base? Help me please!

I just bought my first factory, and when I start the BHP, he messages me as says he's prohibited from trading on my station. I have two of them, and they both are named null as well :(

Their homebase is set, it has money, and they're ready to go. What am I doing wrong?

Also, where can I get something that will let me transfer credits remotely?

you can transfer credits remotly too and from your stations when you have the trading systems extension.

also, might be worth checking the BPH post in the scripting and modding forum

I have, and they have been no help, because I've never seen this particular problem addressed.

I see, I just need someone to be at the station to transfer funds, thanks.

Anyone? Please help me. I can't find anyone else with this problem on the forums, and I'm sure 1.4 was installed correctly, so why aren't pilot names and the scripts working properly?

Do I have to buy them after they have a home base?

i'm not very knowledgable about these matters but it sounds as though something has not been installed properly

if the scripts are running correctly the pilots should have a name

the only software your ships require is the BPH to run so there wont be anything missing from the ship

if you get desperate and no-one else gives you any suggestions i would backup my savegames and do a fresh reinstall

but as i say i dont know much :oops:

I may have to try that, or at least repatching the game. My SPP is doing fairly well without the BHP, so I may just have to try a different factory. Time to start saving.

Of course, I'm running all captured pirate ships at the moment for my transportation fleet.

Ok, it turns out that I somehow didn't patch the game correctly (Likely because I'm in the US, but seem to have the austrailian version). I repaired and applied the 1.2 and 1.4 patches (In theory I had version 1.3), and that seems to have fixed the issue. Sound was odd, but a reboot should fix that.
