the disco/osprey proble mhas been mentioned b4 by burnit
that it might not appear in 1.3, but it is on the list of fixes, they just wanted to get more urgent fixes first

althou since they seem to be adding more to 1.3 than they were previously, this might have been included

If the new patch gives me 10-20 fps more and makes the dialogues work, maybe I'll have a Christmas after all.

Supposed the patch does make it in time.

Looks like alot of stuff, should be a nice patch! Im glad they waited and got more stuff in there. Hopefully there will be some economy tweaks as well.

A few points people should really notice before continually asking questions (based on previous and current info provided):

- Not everything will be done in this patch, it's "main" focus is bug fixing rather than new features

- The ship models were changed for various ships (osprey, discoverer etc.) on purpose and require the models to be modified. They do hope to fix the models but it doesn't prevent gameplay so it therefore isn't the top priority. I believe you will see it one day but I doubt it will be in 1.3

- The GOD engine handles station/ship respawn currently but it's so damned rare you wouldn't notice it. Rebalancing of the GOD engine is likely to modify the respawn times thus it has been addressed in some fashion but the exact effect I can't predict.

- The BBS missions etc. can be added to by third parties so even if they aren't in the patch check out the scripting forums. Because of this I imagine it won't be a primary focus but it is also a minor thing so probably didn't make the list if it did get touched.

- Efficiency improvements across the board would impact crashing as those with decent frame rates get less crashes (apart from special case ones which are probably being looked into as well). Whether or not your specific bug will be addressed is hard to predict because some people may be the only ones with that particular bug. If your problem is crashing then the efficiency improvements and/or specific bug fixes will probably have an impact.

- Tugs/HQ/new missions etc. aren't specifically planned changes and aren't bugs either so they may or may not be in there but don't be surprised if they aren't. These kinds of new features may eventually make it in during a future patch if not in this one but consider the fact that some people have rather serious issues so don't feel so let down if they aren't there yet.

- As in the past I imagine any old save games will be converted to 1.3. This conversion process will impact any bugs that may exist in save games assuming they can be fixed and then the save game will be 1.3 and can't be converted back. They may have changed the system but this is roughly how it used to work.

I am not god and I may be wrong on some points (if you know better please speak up).

Wow! They even did some generator changes on the capital ships! Thats one of the areas my mod delt with, amazing that Egosoft noticed that need! And this is a sure sign that the tShips file WILL be changed... Amazing how Egosoft can also fix the preformence even more! And great news on the additional user-defined graphics options. :D And I can NOT wait to see more of the GOD engine, maybe some of those proposed stations will finnily be built?

And mobile mining is back, I didn't do any of this in X2, so I'll try it in X3! :D

Other than the date/time frame this doesnt curtail my worries and game play points.

I am hoping that they maybe included in the overall vague discription of areas.

Starting options was one I was hoping would be added to the game :cry:

thats only on TL`s and M1`s M2`s dont dock ships, well non ive seen
