Well, that's interesting.

Actually I remember your original version of Mayhem (and the version after that). That was extremely different from what it is now. Fun to think about.
9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm crazy. The 10th is singing the music from Tetris

It was more about lack of knowledge of the scripting engine than game design choices. Mayhem 1 was a mess, and it was going against X3, doing things it shouldn't do.
