Abstract:
The Space Apache AH-1520 is a remake of the proven AH-64 APACHE on earth. The Terrans favoring proven concepts gave
the approval to URBz Tech.Inc on upgrading the AH-64 Apache. The goal was to have operational capabilities in and out of
orbit. To answer this URBz Tech.Inc built in vectorial thrust units on the AH-1520. The units are able to change its angle of
attack from full forward to full upward thrust, enabling it to hover on ground. The existing Radar and Guidance systems were
also upgraded for further detection range and sensitivity.

Weapon systems were too of top priority. Increased payload was possible with the new propulsion systems. Statistics show
that having multiple bursts of instantaneous bullet fire was more efficient than that of streams of rapid fire from fewer barrels.
Hence the 12 barrels. In short, the more bullets flying at an instant dealt greater damage onto a fast moving target.

Side note, I just wanted to test out some stuff for my upcoming plough... and to make sure I could still make a ship..
This ship was done in around 12 hours beginning yesterday. It started after coming across my old Apache AH-64 scale model,
with its main rotors detached.. I imaged it as a spacecraft and there it is 12 hours later.. SPACE APACHE..

It's meant to be an ASSAULT Drone than a piloted one... .. small cockpit


There isn't a page 17 T file yet.. the ID number was a random one.. so if it conflicts just change it yourself..

Nice model... looks like it may be a perfect fit for the Xtra Ship/Station mod... a match for the atmosphere capable fighters.

Great work, will look forward to seeing it in action.

heh I see you found the gattles I was talking about in the missile bit in the Plough :D

, edit and stick some small side thruster vents on the tail to emphasise maneouvrability etc

It's certainly unlike most other spaceship models made for this game, I'll give you that.

However, an apache is mainly a missile-gunboat - can you make it into a missile-turret carrying M3?

Random note for future consideration - a MAC truck for a freighter model, with cabin and everything.

It's actually up for grabs already ! :)
Only that the minor X3 Editor values weren't adjusted.. Max Cargo Size.etc

Yea they weren't difficult to find, though i never knew they existed before.. The side thruster .fx is there.. the tail just doesn't have a visible hole that it blows out from..

Can do... I just need to add another Camera_dummy for a gun turret and take away the weapon compatibility from the present guns..

MAC truck ? whats that ? Monster Truck into a space ship i can totally do that !... :lol:

Im getting an issue where its not showing in the cheat spawn menu, I looked in the editor and found under the Id category the ship and its missile variant.
Under the Name category on the general tab it says "String [17:99997] not found' whereas other ships show their spawning name. Is this something conflicting?

It's working perfectly... I haven't added the name into the game yet, aka text resource file, having trouble with the scripting part as i've never done it before... There will never be any compatibility issues with text IDs, maybe only getting the wrong text displayed ...

Just click on the String "[17:99997] not found" line and it will spawn (:
