While undocked:
  • 1) ESC to get the Option Menu
    2) Select "Controls"

If the above does not work in a saved game created with AP prior to version 2.1, then you may have the AP hotkey bug. If you do, then there are two solutions:

1) Upgrade to AP 2.1 or above, then start a new game.

2) Use one of the AP Hotkey Bug Workarounds

Like others, I found it a little annoying that the script would only work with the first 8 guns, and since it only required changing a few digits here and there, I made the alterations to make it work with 10, and I thought I'd throw up a link to the altered files for those who can't be bothered making the changes themselves.

Because of the way the old array is copied when you edit a profile, you can't just edit existing profiles and add the new weapons, you'll need to delete your old weapon loadout profiles and recreate them, but as long as a profile was created with the modified version, you can edit them just fine.

Also note I've only included the two scripts that needed modifications, you'll still need to have the original version installed first.

I have an issue with a Centaur since installing this new version, however I do not know whether the problem is with Centaur or the scripts themselves, either version.

I wanted to try from fresh so I uninstalled the scripts with the idea of resetting the options but when I reinstall either version of the script it remembers the name of one of the multipress blocks.

How do I delete the stored setting for the script?


The problem itself is that when I switch from one weapon config to another one it takes two attempts to do it correctly, the first time it will set a few turrets according to my preset and the second time it will configure exactly the same way.

I am guessing he is having the same problem that others have had with Gamefront, not being able to download from it when others can.

Minor Update for AP 3.x's Acinonyx Prototype

Updated:
  • It bugged me that WSE only switched 8 (or 10) guns on my 12-gun Acinonyx Prototype, so I fixed that.
  • I also removed some of the zillion hotkeys that did not work very well, leaving only the main menu hotkey.
  • Changed defaults so that just pressing <Enter> will usually give you a "good" setup (Use WSE Light, Do not empty guns).
  • (While I was at it, I posted as a .zip file for the people who find it too challenging to right-click and select "Export to Zip".) ;)

umm. i know im kind of late haha, but how do you setup missile quick fire? cant really figure it out by reading the instructions on the first page. i got through the first four steps and what next?


5. The hotkey which corresponds to the missile slot will now fire that missile at an enemy. You must have a target and ammo before it will fire.

what hotkey?
