X3 cd key issue

i bought x3 colection an when i attempted to activate it on steam using the key i was given i get no access tot he rest of my game. the key seems to only be for terran conficlt. no access to reunion or the extras. can i get the key for reunion or something changed so i can access the entire game i paid for? steam sent me hear saying i was given a different key then what i shold have or something liek that. if someone form the company cn actually contact me i will have no problem showing you proof i ownt he box set an paid for it an the key i have as well. i tried finding a tech support number or email address but found nothing -_- which is awesome.

I assume the X - Superbox ?

The key registers for TC but covers all the games in the Superbox.

If you register on here ,it will show as TC.
If you register on Steam,all your Superbox games will be available for download.(select "show all games") in your library.

some of the letters in the code look similar, so perhaps your typing in the wrong code.

S and 5 are the usual ones wrong, theres a few others that look similar as well

Yes, my earlier code entry attempts had issues with similarities between Y and V, and also D, O and 0. Why on earth a seemingly cheap dot matrix printer was used to print the code on the SuperBox leaflet is a mystery to me!

thew title on th ebox is actually the X3 Gold edition says it inculdes bonsu stuff ( music) x3 TC an X3 reunion. but steam only gives me TC an not reunion. o.O

That's correct. As per this sticky thread at the top of this forum, the only package that allows you to register games other than X3TC on Steam is the X-Superbox which includes all the games in the series.

so even though i have the gold edition it only lets me activiate terran conflict?

Correct - although you will then be able to buy the X3AP download.

If the statement on the sticky is correct. AP should go on sale within the next 2 weeks. Holiday sales just began yesterday on Steam. Better check steam out now, or you'll miss out on your free chance of winning something (there should be a new set of achievements in 3 hours....).

Most likely it'll only be a 25% off coupon for a Valve game after January 2nd.... and only for games made before January 2nd. That's what I got, anyway....
